We brew craft beer that speaks to the wild at heart, modern-day pioneers and those who refuse to settle. Our beer elevates the experiences of everyone as well as fuels the greater good by helping to make the world a better place, one brew at a time. We put that same care into every dish we serve from creating our own scratch-made sauces and dressings to using our own fresh-baked bread in our creations.
Part of a mini-chain, this restaurant serves craft beers, pub grub & cocktails in a casual space.

The stand outs were the chicken strips, pickles, and jalapeño poppers. The chicken strips were Memphis hot style with a great seasoning that was a little spicy they were cooked well not overdone.
The pickles were whole spears which was great. I’ve never had fried pickels that way but I think the ratio of pickle to batter would be off if they used chips.
The jalapeño poppers were very good, I wish they left more seeds and membrane to add some more heat. The sauce was outstanding sweet and tangy. But since the poppers were so mild it didn’t really work as intended until you got to the last bite near the stem (where it’s more difficult to remove the membrane). If the whole popper had that same spice level they would be even better than they already are.
They had a great beer selection and offered to can tap beer or fill growlers. According to the bar bartender they offer brewery tours “whenever someone is working in the brewery.”
Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back.
Years ago -My husband and I have been traveling to Reno from the CA Central Valley for years and we ALWAYS stop here for beer and their Chicken Avacado Sandwich! Salad is delicious and we love their specials, including stuffed mushrooms and shashito peppers. Beer is delicious and so much variety. Service is exceptional. Friendly, and generous staff make the experience even better.
For food, we ordered the crispy fish tacos and the Brewmaster Platter. The fish tacos were just alright, and I could probably skip this dish next time. However, the Brewmaster Platter is a must-try! It’s a selection of various meats, sauces, mustard, pickles, and garlic Icky bread. The portion was massive and the price very reasonable. Our group of three could barely finish everything.
There is no way this meal should have cost me 23$.. This pic is on a salad plate… Do better!!!
The staff is very friendly, they make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, especially when it’s cold outside!
We had the fish tacos, the French dip and fish and chips the first time we were in-everything was delicious, came out quickly and very hot!
The second time we had the jalapeño poppers and a Reuben. The jalapeños were really good, but the Reuben wasn’t my favorite… I’m a hard sell on a Reuben though, so no shade to the restaurant. I just wouldn’t get that particular sandwich again.
They have a great selection of drinks and even some cool gear! My husband loves his GB shirt! I’m only bummed I didn’t get the beanie, it was the softest ever!
We come to a pole vault event in Reno every year and will be sure to visit Great Basin again!
