Took a friend from out of state here and while going in with no expectations we left blown away and completely satisfied. Huge appreciation for our girl Alex who took care of the floor beautifully by herself. She was the cherry on top for this experience. Our bartender had phenomenal consistency and the food ,specifically the cucumber salad left us wanting more. To our surprise it was 12$ Thursday on select items and kareoke for a free shot so if you can’t tell already it was a blast. Uplifting environment & an even better staff, it was a birthday for the books, thank you Newsroom!

My fiancé and I had a great date night here! The vibes are amazing; the whole restaurant was decorated for Valentine’s Day which really set the mood for a great night. There was an acrobat show which was so unique and fun! The food was delicious! definitely recommend the lamb chops, steak skewers, shrimp tempura (as a roll or by itself), and the pillow talk drink! They said there will be another theme after Valentine’s Day, and there was a holiday one before this. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing experience at The Newsroom. Alyssa made our evening feel special from the moment we sat down until our last shot of the night. Her energy, attentiveness, and warmth truly elevated the entire experience.
Everything about this place is beautiful. The ambiance, decor, and music created the perfect vibe for the evening. The manager even came over to personally check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves, which added such a thoughtful touch.
The food came out quickly with no long wait after being seated, and everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
It was our first time visiting, and it definitely won’t be our last. Highly recommend.

I took my girlfriend her for our Valentines dinner and Newsroom did not disappoint. Our server, Andy was amazing. He was incredibly attentive and offered great service for any questions we had, including giving me recommendations for what signature cocktail to get based on my liquor preferences. The food was decent, favorites being their take on shrimp mayo and the chicken yakatori. Definitely a good spot to hit up if you’re looking for a good date night spot.

Our meal was absolutely delightful! Our server, Andy, was super nice and made sure our table had everything we needed. He constantly checked in on us and recommended dishes when we had questions! All of the food was so good that we forgot to take pictures except for our cucumber dish which was 10/10. Drinks were the highlight of the night and we expected no less from a speakeasy! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute date night!

Newsroom hosted my 26th birthday party over the weekend with around 30 of my friends. It was the perfect venue…The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all 10/10. The manager, Alicia did so well at accommodating our party size and the bartenders/servers were lovely as well. Newsrooms very own, Zainab was also super helpful in coordinating my event. The restaurant was decorated so beautifully with red roses and hearts, which happen to fit right into my emo/goth theme. One of my most memorable birthdays to date <3

We went for the hidden Santa speakeasy and it was super cute & fun!! The only issues we had weren’t really directly related to the venue. We reserved online on bucketlisters app but apparently the party promoter or organizer failed to inform ticket holders they still needed to do a separate reservation directly with the restaurant. The hostess was awesome a young African American gentlemen and he was able to accommodate us. So it was a relief we were still able to do the pop up. Our waitress i apologize i don’t remember her name but her service was good. They did run out of a lot of the brunch menu items (but we did have one of the last reservations of the day so understandable) and you couldn’t order from the main menu that was a bit of a bummer. But we totally get it since this was separate organized event. We will definitely be back to support this restaurant their menu seems really good like an Asian / Japanese cuisine and the atmosphere and whole vibe of the actual restaurant and overall aesthetic was amazing.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience overall. The food was absolutely amazing — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. The service was equally impressive, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit.
The only drawback was the seating arrangement. The tables were placed very close together, which made the space feel a bit cramped and limited privacy for conversation. Additionally, the live performance was enjoyable but quite brief, lasting no more than 10 minutes.
Despite these minor issues, the quality of the food and the excellent service really stood out. I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.

We tried this place for the first time and although cutely decorated, I think it’ll be the last time. Drinks were okay but nothing extravagant and overpriced for the portions. Food is the same for a tapas style menu. The beef in the boa buns was so overcooked and dry you could barely bite through the meat. Chicken boa buns were the best of those two. The first drinks we had came with beautiful garnish and presentation. By the second drink, it barely had any presentation and the same taste. Service was great.
