The ice cream here is so good! I am a huge fan of the vanilla chip. I also really like how many different meat and dairy items are available in the freezers. It’s nice to get a burger and dessert for a quick lunch.

I went to KSU for two years a long time ago and hadn’t been back until recently. Ice cream has always been great. They also have alot of KS made/sourced products – milk, cheese, beef, pork, honey, etc. Great little stop for some ice cream on a sunny day.

I tried a double scoop waffle icecream containing one scoop of vanilla crunch and another of purple pride. It was yum.
I would suggest having ice cream with a single scoop if you aren’t much fond of ice creams to avoid wastage, since the ice cream cone is way too big to have with double scoops.

Call hall has the best ice cream in town. They are famous for the purple pride ice cream. I think it blueberry. They also sometimes have lunch specials such as Frito pie. They have sandwiches they make fresh as well. I’ve heard they have breakfast but I’ve never gotten it. Most people love the chocolate milk. They also sell Alma cheese. My cat has boots with the fur.

An unsung treasure of K-State. Whether it is ice cream made in-house, or frozen cut meat from the Meat science people, you are going to get quality and great service. It has evolved over the decades from just ice cream and milk to oh so much more. I try to visit it each time I can and when it is open.

Great ice cream but beware, they will close and lock their doors well before closing time if they’re not busy enough to justify staying till posted hours. Showed up 10till close to pick up for carry out and they were locked and wouldn’t even look at us at the door.
