The bar area seems nice, but the dining room area has the atmosphere of a cowboy funeral home. For a steakhouse they leave a lot to be desired, with only a “queen” and “king” sized steak at $33 and $38 respectively. Both came so fatty that you could eat less than half of it. The only decent part of the meal were the sides. There was a steak salad on the menu, but they were completely out of it on a Friday night during their “high” season? At $50 a head after food and drinks, it wasn’t worth what we paid by any stretch of the imagination.

Been trying to give this place a chance since it opened. Just disappointed every single time we go in or take out. The “wait staff” is not great. Just the bar tender whos on staff that day and clearly wants nothing to do with diners in. They don’t check on you, no attempts to get drinks, and don’t care about you or your order. Last time we went a month ago for a steak to the “steak house” they only have steak sometimes, never got a steak yet. There was a large amount of flies buzzing around my table and food. The food is not anything to write about. Bland, needs salt and very cheap on any toppings. We found hair last time in the sandwiches. Things are always just kind of thrown together. There is no care. They basically only want to be a bar but have a restaurant as a showpiece. I go every few months to try again and try new dishes but so far this has just been sad. I’m done giving them chances at this point. We got pizza take out this time, the dough had no salt very bland and was a bit undercooked on parts of the pizzas. The toppings were pineapple and bacon with only a sparse amount of bacon bits on top could barely see any. The mushroom pizza we got had such a minuscule amount as well. Honestly better pizza at pizza hut which is sad coming from me who is a NJ Italian. Disappointing. Do better.

Great people. Great service. Great staff. Very relaxing but upbeat atmosphere. Great to eat in or order. Everyone is so friendly. Even for the bar its a great experience becaus the bartenders are very friendly and helpful and give amazing service.

A great neighborhood bar and grill! Pool tournament Friday nights, delicious, affordable food, great drink prices and specials, and the friendliest staff anywhere! Outdoor patio with corn hole, and tables for smokers too. This is a perfect spot to relax, have a drink and a bite, and have fun!

We really wanted to like this place, but seems like they are new at the restaurant business? Or they just hired very inexperienced workers. We were there for well over an hour, with a party of 6 next to us. So 8 of us in the dining room.Husband ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich plate, he said his was good. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich plate, after about 40 minutes the server came and asked us what sides we wanted, if we wanted fries or something else, we both told her our plates came with fries. But my complaint was that my “buffalo” chicken was a piece of baked chicken with a little buffalo sauce on the bun, under the cheese. Cheese on a buffalo chicken sandwich? There was also a side of pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion, I guess to put on my buffalo chicken? A very nice woman, we think the owner, came over as I was almost finished and asked how everything was, I told her I was disappointed in my “buffalo” chicken, she told me I should have told our server, I would have if she came by.
But it was a very friendly atmosphere, just wayyyyyy to long for two sandwiches.

What a cool cowboy bar! Beer was cold, food was tasty, bartender attentive and the atmosphere was just awesome. I’ve been here a few times for lunch and it is always good. It is worth the drive.

Stopped in at RD’s Bar & Grill in Elfrida and was seriously impressed. I had the double cheeseburger, and so did a friend—both of us agreed it hit the spot. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My other friend ordered the Sloppy Pig and it was delicious. The prices were totally reasonable for the quality, and the food came out fast and hot. Big shoutout to Chaz, our server—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Great little spot with good vibes and even better food. Definitely worth the stop!

Chaz makes a great green chili cheese burger. Fries need to be cooked at higher temp to call em fries otherwise they’re soggy. Had 2 in house experiences both of which were not so good. Service was just terrible. There were only 3 tables with diners and 3 men in the bar watching football. Had to leave my hot dinner to go to the bar and wait and wait and finally walked down and interrupted the bar tender watching the game… for condiments silverware , napkins. Also, we woulda stayed and had a few more drinks but my guests that I took there were so irritated that we just left. My guests, new to Elfrida refuse to ever go there again. Made me sad. I get take out there and I pulled up out front recently & noticed how filthy it was outside. Needs garbage picked up and sidewalk hoses off and the 2 flags above the entrance are disgraceful…, all tore, tattered and warped around the poles. Replace them regularly or remove them. Let’s make American great again, one person or establishment is all that it takes. Thanks

Loved the food here great pep ok e great atmosphere. The steaks was great the burgers were great if I had to give one critique it would be that the food didn’t arrive hot like it was fresh off the grill or out the oven. It was about room temp warm. Other then that im.goingnback for the steak I will find a way to get the prime rib. Lol. I would recommend this spot again.

Saturday night we dined out at RD Steakhouse and walked away satisfied after having a great dinner and service in a clean comfortable dining room. We ordered prime rib med rare and it was perfectly cooked and a tender cut of beef, tossed salad was good as was the loaded baked potato. Our waiter was polite and attentive, even with being a one man operation. We will be back!
