My first time here did not go smoothly at all. I’m a little disappointed . I placed an online order for pick up for my lunch. One estimate said the order would. Be ready between 11:30am and 11:40 am. Then I get a text that says 12:00pm -12:10pm. I get there at 12:10 and no one is at the counter. A lady finally walks over and the online ordering tablet isn’t even on lol. She turned it on, found my order and made it right then. Took about 10 minutes so needless to say my sandwich and fries were very fresh. The beef on my sandwich didn’t have much flavor tho. I agree with another comment that said flavor profiles have been lowered to appease to Americans taste buds. That’s too bad. I’m American and my food needs to be seasoned with love and flavor. I also got carrot cake. Cake was dried out. Crunchy dried out. Couldn’t finish it very disappointed for 6.99. I also didn’t get my drink. When I asked about it the lady said “you didn’t say anything about a drink. The menu says all sandwiches come with fries and a drink. She should have given it to me and honored the menu listing.

A Lament for a Wretched Meal
I knew my fate when from a warming tray
They drew the meat, not shaved from turning spit;
A gyro born where corners go to gray,
So bland it begged the tongue to forfeit wit.
The lettuce stood in green, absurdly proud,
As if fresh leaves could plead the case for all;
Its crispness mocked the meat, so meek, so cowed,
A painted smile upon a rotting wall.
For sweet relief I chose the cheesecake there,
No baklava to right this earlier wrong;
Its crust was stiff, its body thin and bare,
I wished for store-bought lies that taste of song.

This is our new favorite local spot! We went on a Sunday night and were immediately impressed by the friendly staff. I order rice with lamb shank, Lamb was so tender and everything cooked to perfection.
I also order beef sandwich with fries. Good amount of steak, topped with cheese and side was one of the best sandwich I ever ate
The atmosphere was cozy and lively. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!”

Most bland underwhelming gyro I’ve ever had at a PREMIUM price point. Fries were good. Price was insane for the quality and flavor, especially considering the other options nearby. One and done.

Everyone has their days no matter how much you strive for perfection. People have a tendency to forget we are all human and not on autopilot. If someone is having a bad day or seem a little off, just talk to them and encourage them. I had a semi delightful experience here. A little off and the food wasn’t as expected, however; the experience was awesome. I believe they had been really busy when I came and I got the tail end of it when they may of been making more. The cashier was a little irritable but maybe because their was a language barrier. Maybe both of us need to brush up on our different languages so we can communicate better. Learning another language can help everyone in so many ways. Overall 4/5.

This place was amazing. The wonderful women who work here took such good care of me. The chicken, eggplant, spinach all fresh and delicious. I’m not one for cucumber salad and I could help but be impressed. This place is literally worth driving to Dublin for!

My boyfriend (who is Moroccan) and I went to the Dublin North market location. My chicken was moist and flavorful, rice was perfect and the eggplant was so good. The spinach was too salty for me . My boyfriend enjoyed his meal, but said it seems that the food has been tamed down to appeal to Americans.
My boyfriend also said the food seemed to be missing saffron. Understandable, due to the cost. However, some in the couscous would make it more authentic.

10/10 Amazing food, I got the Kufta sandwich. It was freshly made, delicious nice sauce included too with seasoned fries and drink. Service was amazing as well. Definitely will be going back again now that it’s at North Market Dublin.

A couple weeks ago my son wanted ice cream at north market. We asked for a scoop of ice cream from Tajine House and the worker gave us the tiniest scoop imaginable. In the picture it was the “scoop” on the left in the picture with the sprinkles. It was at most 2 bites of ice cream. He charged us nearly $6 for this. I examined the scoop in horror and asked “is this really all?” He seemed to think that whatever fit in the tiny spoon was considered a “scoop” I had to argue with the worker to get the extra ice cream in the photo, which in all reality is still less ice cream than a standard scoop of ice cream at a regular ice cream place. The worker seemed to not understand the concept of ice cream scoops and I will never support this vendor again. Absolutely horrible and rude service and below average ice cream.

This was just really, really bad. I’d go as far as to saying borderline disgusting. I ordered the Chicken tajine with three sides on Uber eats. The “cauliflower salad” was basically over-cooked warm mush. The “Eggplant and tomato salad” was a sort of lumpy, warm, tomato-eggplant sauce. There was barely any chicken to speak of so I can’t really comment on that. The rice tasted like that packet spiced instant rice you get at Kroger. Food bore no resemblance whatsoever to the picture placed as the restaurants header on Uber eats webpage. Pictures here are what I received…. Spend your money elsewhere. Angry for the loss of the $20 I just paid for this dish plus an additional side of beets (the latter were also overcooked and flavorless – but arguably the best bit) – it’s really frustrating that restaurants can get away with serving this kind of low quality!
