Okay so here’s the thing at this particular spot.

The staff is actually trying so hard to make things easy. It’s the patrons that complicate things.

It’s takes an average of about 15-20 minutes just to put your order in during the rush.

Now, no kidding, this is some of the comfort food in town. Worth every moment.

But these folks need a different system. Waiting 20 minutes to order a sandwich and two ladles is soup is a reflection of pace set in this spot.

Bottom line… amazing food. Worth the wait, but don’t be in a hurry.

This is such a great place! I come here almost every Wednesday with my friends, and the staff is so polite! Everything they have is good, and it’s a cheap option for food! If you come here often enough, you get a preferred customer card. Everyone is so polite, don’t be afraid to ask for samples! Thank you so much Soup Kitchen!!

Soups hot and delicious. Sandwiches are also worth the stop. Service is really fast. Seating and parking are both limited during lunch. This place gets busy. Don’t let a line scare you off they get to people really quickly and Seating opens up quickly.

I only wanted to stop by to grab some chicken noodle soup for some of our dearest friends… Monica really helped us out and clearly defined what a true soul does in the hospitality industry. I’ve always known The Soup Kitchen to be top notch… the only way to get there is by the people working there. THANK you all, and know that I’ll always recommend the goodness served at The Soup Kitchen. Kudos!!!

Alright guys, this place is such a cool little stop. I went here for my lunch break and was not disappointed.

1.) Atmosphere: The place was reminiscent of an old diner which gave homey vibes. Could not be happier with how this place feels
2.) Food: The food was incredible! I’ve heard their sandwiches are good but I just got their signature soup, Chicken Curry, with a grilled cheese, and I must say it was an amazing soup that really lifted my spirit. It felt like it was made with love ya know?
3.) Service: All the staff were so friendly and so kind. They were patient if you didn’t know what you wanted and give GREAT recommendations if you are unsure.

Overall, this place was fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with how this place made me feel. Pleasantly full while lifting my spirits with a kind and great recommendation. 5/5 will recommend ANY DAY, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE, plus it’s locally owned which makes it 10x better.

I love good local spots. This is one. Perfect for a midday lunch or a cool rainy day.

Huge selection of soups and sandwiches so you can eat here over and over.

Plus you can feed two for less than $30!!

Meatloaf sandwich: was more like a hot melt but really good.
Grilled Cheese: warm melted cheese and buttery.

Clam Chowder: it’s OK
Potato Soup: needs more salt and bacon
Vegetable soup: So good. Hearty!

Pros: Homemade food, great prices, friendly staff.

Cons: Limited seating, decor is nothing great. But who is looking at that.

I do love this place! We eat there a lot since it’s close to my work but here lately it’s hard to eat their food because there’s so much black pepper in everything. I got the potato soup a few weeks ago and it was hard to eat due to the amount of pepper. Today I got the chili and it’s loaded with pepper too. Please take the pepper away from the person that makes the soups. Also, I have noticed some bad attitudes from the staff. Not very friendly at all. Makes me wonder if this establishment is owned by northerners because northerners are the rudest of all! We’ll be back but we won’t be ordering anymore soup
