I requested a 530 pm pick up time(called way ahead) Went to drive through, 3 employees appeared to be smoking in back. Waited at drive through. Took 15 minutes and did not receive my 3 orders of breadsticks. Luckily I checked the bag before leaving. Take your breaks, smoke if you want, but I recommend staggering them and timing them better.Love the food but it was a bit cold this time. Please and thank you.

It’s been miss after miss with this Pizza King over the past couple years, but this was the last chance for us. Whenever we order for carryout, the food is never ready. Arrive on time? It just got put in the oven. Arrive late? We gave it to someone else. Arrive early? Won’t even start cooking the food until your ready by time. The one thing that’s consistent is not having the food ready on time.

The service tonight was awful and the reason we won’t be back. We came through the drive thru and asked for our food, and the employee scrolled through the POS for a couple minutes before coming back and asking if my wife spelled her name “the normal way.” She spent another couple minutes searching before telling us the ticket “got lost sometime in their busy day.” We mentioned we called hours ago to have the order ready 45 minutes before we pulled up and that this was not the first time it had happened, and she just said, “Huh, that’s weird.” The other employee said, “Well, it was for 6:45, we gave it away to someone else.” So you either barely waited before giving our food to someone else, or you gave someone else food which had been sitting for quite a while?

We were told the food would be ready in 6 minutes. 12 minutes later, the first employee shoved the food in my wife’s face. She asked if all the cheese sauces were there, and the employee said, “They’re at the bottom?” as if we were stupid to ask after the other screw ups. My wife said she would just take her word for it since she wasn’t going to check with a car behind us, and the employee slammed the window in her face as soon as we started pulling away.

It should not be this difficult to have food ready at the requested time. It should not be this difficult to admit you messed up. We didn’t receive an apology, a discount or coupon, or even a “have a nice night.” Instead, we had our time wasted and a window slammed in our faces. Save yourself the time and frustration and just go to any other Pizza King in the city.

We ordered two 8” Subs, 12 inch Royal Freast pizza and bread sticks. We have had this combination several times but this time the subs had very little meat and cheese and pizza had far less cheese as well. The worst we have ever gotten and we have eaten at Pizza King 8 to 10 times in a year.

Last name night, with great anticipation, we gave this new location a try, and it did not disappoint. The pizza was spot on Pizza King and tasted great. Our order was turned around in the time the phone order taker instructed and pick up went quite easy. With being so new, I would have expected a few hiccups but none were experienced.

On a different note, I was surprised how much room there actually was inside this location. It is small, but they have maximized the space well. Our family looks forward to dining there on occasion vs. takeout.

Overall we are thrilled with this new Pizza King location.

I wish I had better things to say about this pizza. I tried it based on a few recommendations from some friends and coworkers. I called and placed the order and the guy over the phone wasn’t all that friendly, but wasn’t rude either. Said the pizza would be done in 20 minutes and it was. Upon arriving I was surprised to see it attached to a gas station, but it wasn’t trashy inside or outside.

Okay, on to the pizza. Ordered a large cheese pizza, thin crust well done. First point I’d like to make, I’ve had 5 different pizza places over the course of this week. This pizza was the most expensive one at $18 after tax, all the others were much cheaper. Okay, on to the critique. The crust was much thicker than I would like for a thin, but for what it is, it was ok, definitely not great though. The sauce lacked flavor, was lightly applied, tasted cheap and not fresh. The cheese didn’t compliment it well either, as it lacked in several areas of the pie. They also do not come in a box, just a cardboard “plate” and a paper bag. I wasn’t very impressed, but I feel I’m usually let down by “chain” or franchise restaurants. 5/10 on the pizza, and that’s being rather generous.

Very disappointed & a WASTE OF MONEY. Not what I remembered as a kid. These Subs are small and they’re VERY greedy with toppings. We had like 4 or 5 pieces of folded ham and salami combined for an 11’inch “Giant” sub they seriously took like 2 thin slices of ham and layed it down and put like 3 slices of thin salami over it. There were 4 kids and 1 adults sharing these “Giant” subs. Everyone is still hungry. Not worth the $25.90 we paid for 2 sandwiches that were supposed to be “Giant” we would’ve been better off going down the street to subway. We won’t be back.
