What a cool destination off the beaten path! We had a big group of guys riding side by sides and we stopped for a drink. Page, the owner was such a great guy to chat with, and just a generally great guy! We were so low on fuel that he actually hooked us up with some so we could make it to our destination. Lots of local mining History in the bar, and with page since he mined up the road for 25 years.

UPDATE: Still dream about this place and its been 7 months!

Been thinking about this place ever since we left. The fun we had at Midas Bighorn Saloon with the surrounding town folk has left an imprint on us for life. We drank the coldest beer in the county and enjoyed the best live entertainment ever.

We even rented the great accommodations behind the saloon. Clean and well equipped while still being affordable.

We will without a doubt make it back to Midas.

Quite a drive to see a ghost town which isn’t really evident but, found a small community and we were made very welcome by the lovely owners of the Midas Saloon. They have spent a lot of time refurbishing the building and it’s a small space full of interesting things.

I will say I was excited to do the poker run put on by the saloon and the people are nice, but we drove 3hrs to a complete fustercluck and nightmare. I will never go back again, I’m so glad my friends and me could donate over $200 to your kitchen remodel

I am one of less than 10 or so full-time residents of Midas Nevada. There have been numerous iterations of bars and such establishments over the years. Paige, the owner of the bar here has outdone himself and surpassed the quality of each of the other businesses that have existed over the years, with his Ghost Town Saloon. It is expertly run, very clean and Paige himself is one hell of a character and cool dude. You will not be disappointed by a visit here

It’s a small bar in the middle of nowhere in a gold mining ghost town. The owner and patrons were super nice and friendly. A must see.
