What a gem! Inside a strip mall is a pie shop owned by someone from New Zealand. Walk inside and be greeted by their friendly staff. Here, you can order savory pies (think meat pies) and sweet ones from chocolate to berry. For just a few dollars, I ordered to go a slice of their chocolate pie. Since it was in the fridge, it was very cold, but so tasty. It’s like a chocolate chess pie and truly the best I’ve had. To make a day of it, order lunch across the lot at the BBQ spot and finish for dessert at the Kiwi Pie Shop.

Found this shop online and decided to stop in and try their pies GREAT idea. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us make almost impossible decisions, with all the great options available. We got 4 single-serve pies ($8 each), Spicy Butter Chicken, Pork Green Chili, Chicken Curry, and lamb. Each was delicious. My personal favorite (because we all tried each others) was the spicy butter chicken.
My only disappointment was that there is no seating there. We were hoping to eat and then get sweet pies after for dessert, but ended up just taking the savory to go.

Fantastic NZ/Australian style savory pies. They have a wide selection in a freezer which you can buy to take home or have heated up in store to eat right away. In addition to the savories they also have several full size dessert pies. I’ll definitely be back to try out more fillings!

Tried out the heartbreak pie which is chocolate and berries ($27). The price is pretty high but it was delicious. We also purchased a lamb hand pie, which we were not a fan of. Overall, would come back for more pie but would likely stick with their sweet pies versus savory.

I ordered a key lime pie a little more than 24 hours in advance and when I got there to pick it up, they didn’t have any. The only good thing was that they refunded me right away but it left my mom without a pie on her birthday.

Such a find in Alexandria VA. Wonderful meat pies I usually get mine to go but it’s been awhile so I’m thinking about a delivery. They are so good, and I like their sheep.

First time visiting Kiwi Pie Shop (curb-side) was during self-quarantine; wow am I glad I did.
I am one bite into my steak and cheese pie and I’m bummed out I only got three more pies. The excellent taste is complimented by terrific contrast between the filling and crust. Very friendly service as well. I hope you consider this shop, especially during our practice of social distancing (they have delivery options and curb-side pickup). I’m looking forward to returning.

We ordered their Heartbreak Pie and a slice of their Steak Garlic Mushroom Pie. Delivery was speedy and both pies were really good with unique flavors. Will definitely order from them again!

They have the most AMAZING passion fruit pie! And the kids working there are kind and helpful! The pie in the picture survived a metro ride and was delightful! *Edit* I am writing again three weeks later to say that the passion fruit pie was just as spectacular after being half melted and tossed in the freeze as it was when I got it.

I’ve been here twice and it’s a great little shop. I have never preordered but that has not been a problem. Keep in mind that their products in store are kept frozen. For the savory pies they will reheat them for you in store or you can take them home and microwave or oven reheat. They still taste amazing, flaky crust and good flavors. My favorite is the steak and stout. The sweet pies are also really good! They currently have a monumental cherry pie (cherry, cream layer, and chocolate) and the salted caramel apple are my favorites! There is outdoor seating which I’m sure would be really nice in warmer months. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed!
