Welcoming family-owned cafe in wonderful location. Katarina’s offers delicious hot meals (specials changing daily) Paninis and cold sandwich’s, house-made deserts, espresso based coffee drinks & more!
I always enjoy their coffee, I have had both the decaf espresso and regular espresso. I normally opt for a macchiato or cortado but love to get lavender oat lattes when they have the seasonal syrup!
The beef & mushroom ciabatta is incredible, my mom is not a fan of mushrooms and still loved it. It is a filling portion at a decent price.
I would love to try more of their specials – a had chicken adobo there in the past and it was really good!
Some of favourite desserts I have gotten are the chocolate croissants, oat fudge bar, and the French macarons. They have very fudgey brownies as well !!
Katarina’s has indoor seating as well as a lovely patio and is just steps from Kelly’s Beach and paved walking path through the park along the stunning St. Lawrence River. A wonderful spot for ice cream in the summer time 🙂 or a warming beverage in the colder months.

Katarina’s did our wedding cupcakes and WOW they were AMAZING! John is phenomenal at his job! Everything from the design to the taste was perfect. We got Red Velvet and Vanilla and they were both so delicious! Cupcakes were delivered right to the venue and set up for us. I would 100% recommend Katarina’s for a wedding cake/cupcake vendor!

Stopped by a cozy coffee shop/bakery in Prescott, Ontario for a quick treat and coffee, and it was a great find. The coffee was excellent . The Nanaimo bar was unique and delicious, and the peanut butter chocolate ball had a strong, well-balanced peanut flavor. The double roasted chocolate almond croissant was uber delicious — highly recommend it. Overall, a fantastic stop for quality coffee and baked treats.

An excellent choice to stop for a late breakfast. We had breakfast wraps which made a perfect choice. Seating capacity is small, so going at off hours, or off season would be best. Friendly service. Clean washrooms. Limited parking on the street. There are also some delicious treats to take home – brownies, scones, cookies and tarts.

Everything I have ever had from here has been EXCELLENT! I love that the baked goods are always changing with the seasons. It is such a cute place. The coffee is great, the people are friendly, and the homemade soaps are really nice too. Definitely recommend!!!!
