We loved this place! With so many Mexican places within a few miles… this is exactly what we have been looking for in Oakbrook area. Everything is clearly homemade using high quality, fresh ingredients. We split a few appetizers. Chicken empanadas were delicious (this was why we came after reading someone else’s review). Followed by Birria Eggrolls and Queso Fundido with chorizo and fresh tortillas. Drinks were made with high quality, organic tequila with fresh muddled fruit. The tequila selection is fantastic! Top all this with friendly owner who cares about your experience! We will definitely be regulars!

Been meaning to check this place out for some time and it was long overdue. Yummy tacos and drinks, great staff and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning to try some more apps and drinks. I had steak tacos and really liked the seasoning. He had the pastor and enjoyed the grilled pineapple. My pina colada was perfect as was the margarita 🙂

I’m temporarily in Chicago and it can be hard to find good, affordable food when you’re traveling away from home. I went here three times in five days. Edgar (the owner) seems to do everything in the place. From host to server, and from cook to busboy. I could tell the food was going to be delicious just by the chips. My friends agreed! If you’re looking for non-TexMex Mexican food, I’d say give this place a try. My chimichanga with birria was perfect every time.

The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh and flavorful ingredients in every dish. The chips were perfectly crisp, and the salsa was fresh and had a wonderful flavor. Our dishes, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the rich sauces, were outstanding.

I dined here on Saturday 02/28/26. I would have given it 1 star if it was not for the food. I am keen on service and the service was not genuine. We walked in to search ourselves. The waitress came to our table and took our order. 10 minutes later a family walked in and sat at a table. They received their food way before ours and it was steaming hot. Another gentleman walked in and sat at the bar, he too received his food before we received ours. I then asked the waitress where was our food and she proceeds to say it is coming. We only ordered tacos while I see the other table has ordered Quesabirria Tacos amongst other things. My friend who I was with asked what did I want to do? I told her I can leave after waiting 30-45 minutes for food. As soon as I said that the waitress comes to the table with our food. 2 young women leave the restaurant after they had completed their meal they proceed to tell the young ladies to thank you and have a good day. After we finished no one acknowledged us. Although the food was good this place will never get my business again due to lack of service.

They have some of the best, top shelf tequilas. Plenty of TVs to enjoy the games with great music! Customer service top tier, food delicious, esthetic is artwork. Edgar was hands on with the drinks. They have a margarita you can’t say no to! I can’t wait to see their happy hour menu soon! Prices are reasonable without happy hour prices! Try their one and only bottles of Mezcal! They’re open late as well!
