Best authentic Chinese in palm beach county. New owner is lovely and the food is fantastic. Dim sum to authentic cuisine to your favorite classic dishes. Yum! Amazing service from Mae, she recommended great sake options too. LOVE THIS PLACE.

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a great place. The restaurant is clean and the food is very good. The waitress who served us was friendly, and it’s a good option to go and enjoy a meal with company.

They have greatly increased in quality since the last time I came about a year ago. I mainly get dim sum, and everything is delicious. My highlights are the Shanghai soup dumplings, BBQ pork buns, and black gold quicksand bun. The servers were also extra nice to my toddler, which was very sweet. My family and I love this place even more now, which i didn’t think was possible.

Nice restaurant. Atmosphere is peaceful and calm. Server was nice and polite. Food was good with big portions. Our soup was a little bland but otherwise was all good. Will be back.

I’ve been eating here for many years. It’s always been the best Chinese food around, and still is. But the takeout service is lacking. I ordered online from their website – two “dinner combos” that come with egg roll, fried rice and choice of soup, for $15.95 each. I placed the order and chose to pay in the restaurant. When I arrived, they had only one combo waiting. Even though I had the confirmation email from them, they said the second dish didn’t go through. They said it would be “1 minute, please wait.” I paid for both dishes and sat down to wait.
After a few minutes I realized that the price I was charged was more than what the email said. I thought maybe they raised the prices but didn’t update the website. But then I saw the takeout menus on the counter, which had the same lower price. I questioned it and was told I had accidentally been charged the “dine-in” price, and was promptly refunded. It took about 20 minutes, not 1 minute, to get the second dish.
At home, not only was the first dish, of course, cold, it was also missing the noodles for the soup and the fortune cookie, both of which were included in the other bag. So no “major” problems, but small annoying carelessness which I have experienced several times when picking up instead of eating in. People always tell me it is too expensive, and I always say it’s worth it for the quality of the food. But these issues leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had!(and I’m from NYC!) Fresh, delicious, unbelievably amazing food at Grand Lake. We had the crispy shrimp balls which were the most incredible thing ever. Crispy on the outside and moist and delicious on the inside, with a creamy dipping sauce. You must order this! Had beef chow fun with black bean sauce… insanely delicious, crispy duck, crispy shrimp with walnuts…. Each dish came out steaming hot, incredible flavors and seriously the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent as well. I’ll be back for sure!

My wife and I went for a Sunday dinner and everything was excellent. We started off with Crab Rangoon, egg rolls and pan fried dumplings. Then for main course we had General Tso’s and ordered pork fried rice. Everything came out fast , fresh and hot. IMHO the best Chinese food around. This will be my new go-to for Chinese.

Pleasantly surprised by change in management and chef. Food appears to be with higher quality ingredient with smaller portions. The food tastes authentic though a bit on the sweeter side. Was pleasantly surprised by several fresh appearing BBQ duck. There’s also more of a focus on customer service then prior management. We visit the location a Monday night and it was definitely a hit. Will need to come back for dim sum and update review.

NOT FOR THE FAST FOOD CHINESE PALATE.
REAL Chinese food dining enjoyment. 🙂
Great hidden gem, go-to authentic kinda feel. I checked out the menu online first. Got the thousand egg Congee. It was fantastic! My first time trying Congee and thousand egg. Next time I’ll try more things on the menu since I was short on time. Everything was tasty. Would recommend.
I also Loved the videos playing in the background that were in Mandarin with subtitles. Cozy feel.
Update. March 2025
Had the shrimp fortune bags Dim Sum and honey garlic chicken entree. Mild flavors but tasty. Worth adding to your list
