I have an extraordinary experience everytime I visit the Downtown Bar & Lounge FW. I was given the amazing opportunity to celebrate my birthday on Thursday 10/10/24 (karaoke night and it was my second time winning the $50 prize ) and DJ KC is a great host and can SANG!! The ambiance is comforting and the atmosphere is very peaceful and laid back. The owner and staff are phenomenal, professional and friendly.
They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door! The service is 5 and the food is amazing!

Wow what a great spot on the edge of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. It’s a comfy cozy lounge to hang out with friends or go it alone, all the staff make you feel welcome.
The food is actually tastes home cooked, I was surprised it’s really good. You dine in or carry out. There’s music of all genres from easy listening to tunes that make you want to hit the dance floor. Definitely a spot to check out when in the Fort!

Has a nice dance floor. The dj was playing some nice old school r n b which was real nice. And also played some new music too so it was a nice mix. Pool table in the back. Bar tenders were nice and fast to get us drinks. We will definitely be back.

The cover charge varies based on who the ladies at the entrance know. Five people get in for free, and then I will be charged a random amount. The first time I went, they let my friend in for free, but I was charged $10. Last night, an hour before closing, the people in front of me were let in for free, and the young lady told me and my friend that the cover charge was $20. I don’t go out often, and I support black businesses, but there needs to be an end to this inconsistency in treatment and pricing based off of favoritism, nepotism, and the whim of the person letting people in. I have only been to this place twice, and I’m unsure if I will go back. I might depending on what my friends want to do. Stay blessed, everyone!

We came here to smoke hookah, but lo and behold, the place was out of hookah coals. What the heck kind of hookah place RUNS OUT OF HOOKAH COALS?! The sweet woman at the front offered to give us our cover charge back, but as soon as she did, this mean little old lady literally SNATCHED the cash out of my hand and said “NO REFUNDS” in this nasty tone. Like, if she’d asked me for it back nicely, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But no. It’s the principle. Be rude to me, I’m gonna write you a bad review. Don’t go here.

We paid 200 dollars for a section so we could sit down which we didn’t have an issue paying that but then there were ppl who also had a section next to us and didn’t pay anything. Then we were told there was no hookah when we wanted to order. That was the reason we came because half of the ppl weren’t drinking which is why we didn’t get a bottle. Had we known that we wouldn’t have came. Then to make things worse the bartenders service is awful… it took over 30 mins to ever get one of them to take your drink order. Very slow and unorganized. The older lady was just rude. She’d ask ppl “are you tipping” before even taking orders. Like ma’am you take 5 mins to make one drink and ignore customers and then you greet them like that? Very unprofessional. I won’t be back. Only plus was the music

The place was nice and chill but I will not be going back because I feel like the bartender was pressuring me for tips, it was extremely uncomfortable. As soon as she had poured my drinks she goes “your not going to tip me” I’m like I’m not even done drinking for the night. she goes “but still I just poured you all these drinks” She was extremely confrontational and kept saying “ok ok well I just poured you all these drinks” each time I went up there and when I was done for the night and I did tip her I explained why her tip was small. However I did tip the other bartenders tht assisted me without pressuring me. I noticed she did that most of the night to other customers as well. Such a vibe kill
