Taberna is a hidden gem in the area when it comes to great authentic Portuguese food! Sunday’s special is the Cozido há Portuguesa! Best I ever had in a Portuguese restaurant. Just like home’s! Also the octopus (polvo) is a must try. Don’t forget if in the area or you live anywhere within 30 miles from it it’s worth the ride! 10 minutes from the Newark international airport!

When you come through the front entrance, a bar will greet you! But if you prefer a more cozy and less bar vibe, go to the left upstairs side where is nice and quiet! The staff is nice, food is great and the price was superb!!!
