We enjoyed our first visit here. The salsa was very tasty and the sweet tea was on point. My chicken empanada plate was enough for two meals. The chicken was perfectly seasoned…absolutely delicious. My wife’s carnita quesadilla plate was equally generous and well seasoned. The service was friendly and we were warmly thanked as we left the restaurant. So now we will add this location to our list of Great Mexican Restaurants in Laurel. We haven’t found a bad one yet.

I live in Hattiesburg, and I came with my dad to Laurel to visit a friend, and before to return to home, we decided to visit this place. The food was very good, I ordered huevos con chorizo, with corn tortillas, and my dad ordered steak tacos, with horchata to drink. Everything was delicious. Five stars for these guys! I truly recommend this restaurant.

Several of us went to Julia’s Bakery for lunch. They serve authentic Mexican food. I ordered 3 tacos – carnitas (slow cooked pulled pork) on a corn/maiz soft shell, a side of rice and beans, and a sweet tea. Just look at that pic of the tacos. Makes me hungry again. The service was friendly, quick and our food arrived hot and tasty. I like the fact they have 3 or 4 different levels of heat in their salsas, from mild to much hotter (picante). Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended.

This is the best and most authentic Mexican food in Laurel. It’s cheap with portion sizes big enough for leftovers. I left my card there one day on accident and they still had it and kept it safe for 3 days. This place is heavily recommended if you want to eat somewhere comfortable.
