My friend and I went for dinner pretty early so it was not too busy.
The choices were excellent for veggie eaters!
My friend cannot eat too spicy food and so we chose mild spice.
I love spicy foods but still absolutely loved all the mildly spiced food as the flavours were so enjoyable.
Great experience and our server was so charming and helpful.

The staff are very personable but will also give you space and check in when you need it! Food is exemplary compared to many ive visited before. Presentation is clean and beautiful and the whole house aroma is astounding! Overall my new FAVORITE spot!

Royal Aroma is my go too spot for Indian food on the island. The flavour is always incredible, and the food is always consistent. I always get the Lamb Tikka Masala and the lamb is super tender. The Veggie Pakoras have a great texture and taste. The Chicken Samosas are the perfect size and pair really well with the Mango Chutney and Tamarind Chutney.

I’ve been enjoying Royal Aroma for a long time, and it never disappoints! Every time I visit Campbell River—or even Sidney—this is the only restaurant I truly look forward to. The flavors are rich, the dishes are consistently delicious, and the entire experience is top-notch.
Chef Raj is absolutely amazing. You can tell there’s passion and authenticity in every bite. The menu has a wonderful selection, and the service is always warm, welcoming, and attentive. It really feels like a home away from home.
I genuinely wish they would open a location in Vancouver—I’d be there all the time! Until then, Royal Aroma remains a must-visit every time I’m on the island. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Indian cuisine!

Ordered via Uber eats and had to go to the restaurant that was supposed to come with my order. Spoke to 2 ladies on site and we ran through the app, where rice was showing on my app, but not on theirs. After I refreshed my app, somehow the rice wasn’t showing as part of the order.
They still gave me a side of rice.
This meal is delicious! Butter chicken is perfect, both the garlic and cheese wasn’t is light and buttery, the samosas remind me of my grandmother’s.
Next time, ill pop in to enjoy a meal as it seems like a very charming and quaint place to enjoy.

Food was excellent. Service was fast and pleasant. If you’re visiting Victoria book a later ferry and spend a few hours in Sidney. Visit Beacon Brewing on Third Street for an exceptional brew or a cider or wine and then stop at Royal Aroma for fantastic Indian food. We always order large and take the rest home. This is our leftovers, dinner for tomorrow.

We stumbled across this great little Indian restaurant in Sidney while looking for a place to eat, and it turned out to be such a pleasant find. It’s a relaxed, casual dining spot with freshly prepared food that was full of flavour. The servers were warm, attentive, and made the experience even better. A lovely place for an easy, satisfying meal — we’d happily return.
