Our History The roots of Etrusco restaurant are based on a family tradition. Its history begins in 1992 when Etrusco Botrini from a family of Tuscany restaurant owners and an accomplished chef in Club Mediterranee for a number of years, decides to settle to his wife’s hometown in Corfu and launches a small restaurant. In 2000 his son Ettore Botrini takes over the restaurant and in a very short time, in 2003, wins his first Golden Chef’s Cap Award. From that year on and until 2006 he is the winner of the Golden Chef’s Cap Award by Athinorama magazine. From 2007 to 2010 Athinorama magazine awards him two Golden Chef’s Cap Awards every year. Etrusco restaurant was also listed among the 100 world’s best restaurants for the year 2007-2008.

Easy to park, staff extremely welcoming and cheerful. Comfortable, relaxed but energetic atmosphere in a lovely setting. We had the 10 course tasting menu which was exceptional. Majority of the dishes were totally unique and not like anything we have had elsewhere. The perfectly presented plates offered varying temperatures and textures along with some very memorable flavours.

The courses were served at a pace which was comfortable for us.

All staff were friendly, informative and passionate and we liked that they had a sense of humour too.

After coming up the driveway to the restaurant you will be warmly greeted and shown to your table which is on the terrace underneath a tree.
I would definitely recommend a reservation and basic chic clothes.

The whole team was very friendly and helpful. Especially Dimitris, our main waiter and sommelier for the evening, was very nice and recommended us multiple great wines.

The food itself was very high level. It was recognizable, that there has gone a lot of thought into each dish.

We had a wonderful experience at Etrusco.

As a small note, I would also prefer wines from all price categories because personally I am of the opinion that sometimes also simple wines can be a perfect match for very good food.

A truly wonderful experience at Etrusco — we took the “Akron” course; would not say that the food is necessarily at a certain “star” level, but it is definitely great and you can see how much time and effort went into preparation of every single dish. The presentation is thoughtful as well, making the overall experience remarkable. The wine list is 40+ pages, and the mark-up is not offensive for a high-end place (particularly if you take Greek wines). Wines are served in proper varietal-specific glasses.
The staff is professional and goes to great lengths to perform their best and explain the ingredients and history of every dish. A separate pleasure to meet chef Botrini!

The best restaurant we have been to this year. Amazing food with delicate yet complex dishes that have the history of the family of the chef and the Corfu itself. There is a beautiful scenery and an old tree growing right through the terrace. We went there to celebrate a birthday and it surpassed our expectations. It is definitely better than a lot of Michelin star restaurants we have been to and it definitely deserves a star

More of a hype than quality – far from fine dining experience that we expected.

We chose the à la carte menu, and to be honest, the food was very disappointing. By the end of the meal, we felt uncomfortably full. While the food looked nice on the plate, the taste was lacking and needs a lot of improvement. I was expecting a much better experience overall. As a vegetarian, the choices were very limited. The watermelon carpaccio was the worst dish for me—overly vinegary, with a texture that felt like the watermelon had been sitting out for days.

To make matters worse, despite telling them I was vegetarian, they served me a lobster dish with meat in it. The desserts were the only part of the meal that stood out—they were much better than the savory dishes.

While generally the waiters were kind and the manager was quite nice asking us if we liked the food, one of the waiters really pressured us to buy wine. We first opted for a bottle but not even two minutes after we asked the waiter if he could instead change it to two glasses, he later claimed he had already brought the wine from the cellar (which literally took him one minute) even though he hadn’t opened it and did not allow us to change to two glasses. This felt like a dishonest tactic, which I didn’t expect from a restaurant that claims to offer fine dining.
Overall, this was far from the high-quality dining experience they advertise—it doesn’t even come close to fine dining.

It is definitely the best restaurant in Greece. Chef Botrini is a genius. Combines in a spectacular way Greek tradition with innovative cooking techniques creating unique plates were the harmony of the ingredients reflects in to memorable taste experience.
I have tasted nearly all michelin stared Greek restaurants, most of them more than once. In my personal opinion Etrusco deserves at least 2 michelin stars.*
Kudos to head sommelier Niko Litsis for his deep knowledge in the field and his kindness.

*Comparison of Etrusco with the only one restaurant in Greece with 2 michelin stars is overwhelmingly superior to the first.

Absolutely incredible restaurant. The dishes were small works of art and each course played with a variety of flavors textures and temperatures, often within one dish. The inspiration for each dish was also explained in detail as well as how this modern version ties back to its roots. The wine pairing did a wonderful job of round off all of the spectacular flavors. The freshly baked bread and olive oil must also be mentioned, because the moist but fluffy texture of the dark bread was unforgettable, especially when combined with their olive oil. We would have eaten much more bread if we weren’t worried about filling up before eating the other courses. A true culinary experience that we will never forget. We will definitely be back when we come back to Corfu!

Overvalued. We went end of August. For a price point above 700€ I expected more. Cheap ingredients. Boring taste for most of the dishes. Good wine choices. No parking valet. People were smoking during the meal time in the dining area. My general feeling after having visited many fine dining restaurants, is, that this restaurant is a tourist trap. The day we arrived, chef was not on sight and maybe this was the reason of lack of attendance from the staff.
