I liked the sandwich I ordered, but overall the food didn’t have much flavor. The rice tasted too much like tomato sauce, and the potato wasn’t fully cooked, which really affected the experience. The place is small but very nice and cozy. The service was perfect—very attentive and friendly the whole time.

It’s a small place with delicious food. There are some benches inside if you would like to eat there. There is a hot food area in the front for you to pick and others that you order from the kitchen. All food is fresh and tasty! Anytime I want latin food and no disappointment i just buy from here. Price are pretty good also.

Just wanna say I order from here pretty often for a reason. The empanadillas are big and full of meat. The sandwiches are massive and the to go plates up front are delicious.

Customer service very rudely, I’ve known this people since maracas started at the little plaza and they open this one in St Cloud the owner is very cool like every dominican is but the staff on the front that he has specially the colombian girl is very rude this is not my first time ordering from her. Very very rude. All they do is talk and bad customer service.

My family would order often at the restaurant for its great authentic Dominican meals, however after my experience today we will spend our money elsewhere.

My mother-in-law ordered food over the phone on 10/2, but she made an error with my rice option. When I asked politely to have the rice changed out the female employee at the front counter cut me of mid sentence and pushed my bag of food to me saying “here’s your order rudely”.

I was a bit shocked as this was uncalled for the restaurant was dead and the rice option I asked to replace was literally in a hot holding area right where the counter was. This easily could’ve been accommodated, but the employee was clearly too lazy to make an effort.

I thought this rude behavior was shocking and out of nowhere and asked her not to speak to me in the tone she did as my request was not unreasonable. I was very bothered by this experience and asked if I can speak to a manager the employee responded “how can I help you”. I don’t know if she truly is a manager, but if so she’s clearly mistaken on how you address customers.

I always what’s to support small local businesses and the food here is great, but if this the type of experience we can expect we don’t plan on returning. My family and I always ordered here when we get together about 7-8 of us. I guess we will have to take our business elsewhere.

If I can share a message with the owner. I hope you don’t allow your staff or any manager to conduct themselves in this manner. This is the restaurant industry and a small request shouldn’t be that big of an issue. If losing repeat business over a bowl of rice exchange that was paid for is an inconvenience for you that’s the wrong mindset to have. Hopefully no one has the experience I had because the food is great, but that type of behavior from staff is uncalled for.

My first visit and there was some difficulty finding the place – they need a more prominent sign.

The food was fresh and tasty, actually the best of the ethnic foods for miles around, and I have tried quite a few. The place is small so plan on taking it with you, and it’s best to call your order ahead to avoid the wait.

I’ll definitely be back and this time I’ll try something different to get a full sense of the quality of their menu items – but thus far, I was pleasantly surprised – good work guys!!

Absolutely incredible food!! I come here every time I am anywhere near St. Cloud, and have made the 30 minute drive just for the food plenty of times. Highly Highly recommend the front of house food, especially the beef stew and chicken stew. You get a ton of food for the price, and its so delicious. Also recommend the Batida’s (smoothies with milk), Particularly the piña colada and mango. Photos are from multiple visits as I have gone now for the past year and the quality hasn’t dropped an ounce.

Ordered from Grubhub and I was very disappointed by the quality and unsatisfied with the taste. I ordered pollo al horno and it taste like it was pollo guisao then they threw it in the oven or something. The empanadas were weird in taste as well and could not finish my food! Hopefully they improve. I will not be ordering again. 1/5 overall.

Our first visit. Super yummy. Pork is perfect. Cuban is best in town. Sweet plantains are sooooo fresh. Great service from Christian. Small take out restaurant but they do have I guess 8 tables to dine in. We love it.
