I wanted to love and support this local business so much, but unfortunately we will not be back. We went for the grand opening and were disappointed. Staff was very kind, but my food came out with an ANT in it. The waitress immediately apologized when it was brought to her attention. I saw her inform the owner behind the bar, who then gave me a side eye from across the bar and walked off. There was no apology from the owner or any manager. The plate with the live ant walking around on it was never taken away from the table. Thankfully that item was removed from our ticket. My friend also had to send her margarita back after she was told that there was salt spilled in it because they were rushing. I hope that going forward things work out better for them.

I wanted to love this place as my family and I enjoy eating Mexican food and this location was closer.
However, salsa tasted like it came out of a can. Dishes were dirty, dried up lettuce in a salsa dish and dried salsa on my water cup. Which makes me wonder how dirty it was under plates that my kids were eating out of.
I’m sure as a new establishment they need
To work the kinks out, I just wasn’t impressed.

This was the second time eating here and it is great! Don’t listen to the negative comments. They are busting their butts trying to serve everyone since their are so busy. Give them some grace. Food was good and service was outstanding. We will keep coming back.

Today we had the pleasure of trying Agaves Mexican Grill at Pumpkin Center. If you dont know, Fabbie and Lupillo Garcou recently opened this brand new restaurant to serve the Appling-Harlem communities. I have known their sweet family for 25 years and began working with them 20 years ago where I met their babies, Paola, Brandon, an Bryan. Our meal and experience was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful, decorated for Christmas, and conveniently located just off exit 183. I passed by this evening to see the sign lit up and the inside was slam packed. We are looking forward to this becoming our new regular spot since it is so close and we love their family like our own.

Honestly did have high expectations considering some of the reviews I’ve seen. After coming in with my family we have been so pleased. The staff was kind and although the service was shaky at first everything turned out really well. You can tell each person that works here is trying their best. The food was great and the environment feels so light. I enjoyed my time and we will be back.

Absolutely fantastic! I brought a huge group of family and friends and all 10 of us thought it was good! I was very happy with how fresh, made from scratch, and tasty everything was! I will definitely start coming here when I am ever back in town! The cheese sauce was on point!

Everything was great, the food was good, our server was nice and not rude or in a rush to serve someone else, me and my family got our food within 10 minutes and we got our drinks in about 5 minutes. Overall my experience was great.

Mexican food is my absolute favorite and I so wanted to love this place. The service was nonexistent, we ended up having to go get someone to take our drink, and then our food order. It’s a new business and service can be slow, but it seems to be a common occurrence.The salsa was not pleasant and didn’t have a fresh taste to it. Our food was very bland and basically flavorless. The cheese dip had a sour taste, almost like it was old or bad. Despite the horrible service, when it came time to pay the check, they were there immediately. The atmosphere was beautiful and we enjoyed that. Unfortunately, with the food tasting the awful, we will not be back. The prices were very high as well.
