This is one of the best Indian restaurants to hit the metro Atlanta scene! The owner and the rest of the team are really passionate about what they do. They have unique dishes to complement the traditional Indian restaurant menu. This is locally owned and operated so even more of a reason to give them a shot!

We accidentally found this place while searching for an Indian restaurant. The food was so good that we would certainly go back again. We ordered dakshini jhinga, dhaba chicken, garlic and jalaepno naans. The monchow soup was chefs compliment and so was hajar halwa. Everything was a delights. Incidentally the owners – Datta and Sushma were also in the restaurant and they were such kind people to sit with us while we ate. We didn’t just eat good food here but made them friends for life. We loved this place and would strongly recommend.

I’ve been here now twice both times great experience! The food is delicious and very authentic. My husband and I love trying Indian restaurants, because that is one of our favorite cuisine and this is definitely a top for us! The patiala gosh goat and the chicken tandoori were great!!!

The food was mouthwatering but what stood out even more was the service! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly — it felt like we were being welcomed into his home for dinner.
Other delicious food and drinks not pictured: Masala Chai Tea, Dhaba Da Murgh, Garlic Naan.
One minor suggestion: play light music in the background so other tables’ discussions aren’t as noticeable. Nonetheless, Saffron Darbar was an all around great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant!
