The restaurant has a nice authentic feel. I ordered the King Prawn Chilli & Basil Noodles (Guay Tiew Phad Kee Mao) online for pickup, and the lady there was really helpful—she messaged ahead to confirm everything was on track and it’d be ready on time. They also had Thai beers on tap while I waited, which was a good touch.
The noodles were excellent: full of flavour with just the right level of spice—enough for a proper kick, but not overwhelming.
We’ll be going back soon to try their Pad Thai, as it’s one of our favourites. Excellent Thai food in London!
I went eventually went here one Saturday evening with some friends, and the overall experience was positive!
For my starter, I went for the deep-fried calamari for £7.95.
They were fantastic! There was a good amount, and they weren’t chewy or hard, and the batter was crispy and light! The perfect starter!
For my main, I chose the chicken Massaman (£13.95) and coconut rice (£4.95) to go with it…again a lovely dish!
The curry was creamy, flavoursome, and went down a treat with the generous portion of coconut rice, which wasn’t too sweet.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, even though I felt it was a bit pricey…especially the rice.
The staff were friendly and helpful, so if you enjoy Thai food, then this is definitely worth a visit! 😉
That is the last time I rely on reviews.
Nice and tidy, good display and really good taste! Nice and warm staff! Thank you for your service!
Must try mango sticky rice and home made coconut ice cream. Amazing home made ice cream!
We ordered two curries and Pad Thai. The curries were watery, overly sweet, and completely lacking depth or balance. Massaman in particular should be rich and savoury — this was thin and bland.
The Pad Thai was worse: essentially a box of overcooked noodles with very little flavour, no proper balance of sweet/sour/savoury, and no freshness. It felt unfinished.
We called to give feedback and were met with defensiveness rather than interest in improving — simply told that “my husband is cooking,” which doesn’t really address the issue.
Everyone has an off night, but this felt like a systemic drop in standards, not a one-off mistake. Sadly won’t be ordering again unless there’s a clear return to the quality this place used to have.
You need to take stairs up one floor to get to the restaurant.
Ordered steamed sea bass, Thais ice tea and fried rice. The rice must be order separately from main course.
Although steamed sea bass is in the spicy section of the menu, the level of spicy is very bearable for European. I am Asian so it is a mild level.
Delicious evening dinner.
