I got take out tonight and I got the steamed pork dumplings 4pc and the Gyuniku ramen, I would say this was the best most flavorful beef broth I’ve ever had, it was so amazing and it was a very filling dish!!! I would 100% come back here again. The dumplings were also very yummy. (I asked for an extra boiled egg with my dish)

I’ve been a loyal customer of this establishment for going on three years and it has consistently been my go to comfort meal. The amazing employees treat everyone like family and will do anything to make the customers happy! When anyone asks me where to eat I will forever without a doubt recommend them here. My go to is the grilled chicken ramen spicy level 2, and it is consistently amazing and gets better and better! My sister ordered the chocolate churros, my first time trying them, and I don’t know what magic is going on in the kitchen but it showed up on that plate in the form of chocolatey, Ooey gooey goodness. they’ve cast their spell on me and I’m not mad about it. I’ll be back next week!!

AN EXTENSIVE LONG REVIEW: Ive been coming to Ichiraku for years as a painesville native. Ive seen what this place was like before the extension, where it was just that little studio room with no bathrooms.

Lets start with the CONS: yes, its going to be pricey for quantity. I always get the 4 pc chicken lemon grass dumplings because they are so freaking good even if they look small for their “worth”. Got the shrimp tempura for the first time (image), it was good! Tho we dont order it often since 3 pc is 10$. Their food is an art not meant to be inhaled, I understand their portion sizes are “smaller” than what Americans are used too.

I never buy the buns. The one and only time we did, they weren’t bad but I was not prepared for the thick white doughy outside and itty bitty bits of meat inside. Personally, they aren’t worth it to me but they may be to other people for the experience.

One last thing: one of my closest friends got food poisoning or something here. We ate the Spicy Miso Ramen bowl and my friend threw up an hour later. We dunno if it was a pathogen or bad ingredient or what, rip

PROS: literally everything else. The bathrooms are clean, the atmosphere is nice and bearable (not overstimulating), the ramen is awesome. The ramen bowl is big enough for me and someone to split. (Fried Chicken or any miso ramen bowl what we normally order. Lemon grass dumpling ramen good too!) Add it with a side of fried rice and you will be full for the rest of the night. In fact, you’ll be taking some of that shi home I hate raw eggs but having it cooking in the ramen makes it bearable to eat. (Edited) The Taro boba is absolute fire. I recommend brown sugar or strawberry for people new to boba.

The waiters accommodated all our requests. I got soy sauce and chili sauce while my friend got yum yum. They don’t list the sauces on their menus but just ask and theyll provide ^_^

Another PRO: I took a friend of mine Feb 6th 2026 for her birthday. While she was in the bathroom, I ran to the front desk and asked if they do anything fun for birthdays. Ironically, they dont HOWEVER they brought out a treat for my gurls bday, she loved it! Whatever it was! (I think it was Mochi? LOL) Thank you guys so much for being the absolute goat! Ichiraku, you’ll be seeing us again within the next coming months.

Thank you for your food and services. It’s always a treat bringing friends here, and now with the extension to the restaurant, we dont feel nearly as rushed to leave. If there’s weirdos in the restaurant, thats not the staffs fault. its an anime restaurant, ofc theres going to be gooners and weirdos. The customers are usually just as chill tho. This place is relaxing and if you are patient, it may become your next favorite modern ma and pop ramen shop :3

Great experience at Ichiraku Ramen. The food was delicious and everything came out hot and fast. The service was just as impressive – Hazel took great care of us from start to finish. She kept checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything and made us feel completely taken care of. She even made us a delicious margarita that topped off the meal perfectly. Hazel was a huge help with everything and her friendly, attentive service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

This was my second time coming to this restaurant, and will forever say that it is one of the best places in northeast Ohio maybe even all of Ohio. The prices match the quality, authenticity, and flavor of food that you’re receiving!!!! I will happily pay any price for this meal & exceptional service. Every worker is so friendly, clean and aesthetic interior, and the vibe is always awesome. This time, I got the pork dumplings (incredible flavor especially with chili oil), tonkatsu fried chicken ramen which I ate every bite of, and ended with the mini chocolate churros which I think were the star of the show. Crispy and flaky outside with a soft buttery inside that melts in your mouth and filled with the most amazing melted chocolate. EVERYONE COME HERE!!!

I used to love this place when it was new but I’ve realized how overpriced it is and what you get for it is mostly carbs with sprinkle of protein. Last night we got a side of chicken for almost $8 and it came with 7 tiny pieces of chicken about the size of chicken in a mall teriyaki dish. Ebi Katsu buns are almost $15 and although they taste good it’s bread stuffed with shrimp that’s also 50% bread and you only get two of them…. You’re basically paying $15 for two tiny shrimps. My hubby and I both decided that we would never eat here again because it’s never filling and it’s mostly carbs.

Love eating here. Every time I get paid I always try to order at least once. The food is so good and definitely worth the price, not to mention the boba teas.. so good. 10/10. Whether I order online or come in and eat, never disappointed. Definitely gonna bring more friends when I come.

After reading great reviews, I was a bit disappointed. Ramen was not that good and not hot (temperature), 4 pcs of Chicken Lemongrass Dumplings $6.50 came with a takeout like container dipping sauce, and tiny Chicken Karaage Sliders $13.95 seemed overpriced to us. Service wasn’t great, either. When a girl brought our Dumplings, she didn’t even bring an individual plate. A guy brought my partner’s beer just as a bottle and no glass. Ebi Katsu Buns were interesting.

Went in to get dinner late with my girlfriend and we had to wait 10 minutes for the water and an additional 20 for the bubble teas. After which we ordered Takoyaki which tasted like it was left to sit out to cool for 10 minutes. We both ordered the Shrimp Yakisoba, which for the 17 dollar option, come with a measly 4 small shrimp, and for a 6 dollar upcharge comes with 3 more shrimp which is crazy work. The fact that the food itself looked and tasted like this plate should have been a 15 dollar plate with the quality of food you would get from a store bought microwavable package which most only costs around 4-7 dollars, is an insult to the injury of dealing with food poisoning that left us sitting in the bathroom for hours trying to release all that nasty out.

Please stay away and go somewhere better like PANDA EXPRESS, where the same plate of food costs ten dollars cheaper and at least you know what the hell it is and does.

EDIT: Forgot to mention as well that I was told the atmosphere would be great but I sat down and saw a 40 yo couple just sit and stare at us like we’re aliens. The other couple that walked in looked like 50-60 and were regulars and had their drinks brought to them much quicker. The same server I had pushed alcohol on us so much like a used car salesman, and again, didn’t bring out our drinks until a total of 30 minutes, which afterwards she brought out the other couples drinks (who arrived much later than us) immediately.
