I was scared that this was going to be a tourist trap given the location, but I got motivated to give it a shot once I saw the owner and his friends chatting and eating there.
I was not disappointed at all. I had the ham pizza and it was actually very good. It is simple but you can tell the ingredients are good. The pizza dough is aery and light, I really enjoyed it. The tomato sauce is tasty, with a little touch of herbs.
Since I was looking up for something light but still fulfilling for dinner, the portion was exactly the right size for me. I payed 5€ for 1 slice. I also loved that they cutted it in small bites, it’s a perfect grab and go meal for exploring the city.

Aromatic Street-Side Gem
This little spot is a true street-side gem, instantly recognizable by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pizza wafting into the street. It’s a small, bustling operation, primarily set up for quick service – grab your pizza and go. However, they do offer limited seating inside for those who want to savor their slice immediately.
While I was en route to dinner and didn’t have the chance to sample the pizza on this occasion, the sheer volume of customers and the tantalizing display of unique pizza varieties made a lasting impression. I saw combinations I’d never encountered before, and they all looked incredibly delicious.
The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, reflecting the fast-paced nature of the service. It’s clear that this place is popular with locals and visitors alike.

Amazing slice of pizza near the Santa Maria del fiore. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The pizzas were fresh and filling! We especially enjoyed the sausage pizza and the spice in the pepperoni was a nice touch. Definitely recommend!!

Mushroom pizza was great, the dough is thick but very light. Calzone was a bit dry so I’d take another slice of pizza instead. A bit pricey, some places around the area have an entire pizza for 10-13 euros (one slice of mushroom pizza was around 7€) but it was tasty and a pretty decent portion so i’d definitely recommend for a quick bite

Awesome decadent pizza at lightening speed and super good price! Server there is fast, it’s amazing to watch her move so fast serving a customer in few seconds. Fixed options but many choices. Location is vital, it’s next to Duomo.

Located across from the Duomo. Outside seating available. You pay by the pound. The slice pictured costed 5 Euro which seems to be the standard price in Florence. They speak both Italian and English. The pizza was really good. Little spicy because of the pepperoni, but not too spicy. We got a Peroni from the tap as well. Not a big beer fan, but this was very refreshing.

One slice of sausage pizza and one slice of margarita pizza from Pizzeria A Taglio. Large pieces of sausage, great flavors. Good sized slices for €6 each. Nice spot near Piazza del Duomo. Seating outside and downstairs.

Pizza is fine, they cut it to small pieces so it’s easy to share. Bit overpriced. There’s a really nice view to the Duomo from their big terrace. All in all it’s fine but you can find a better place next to the Duomo with better pizza for the same price.

Revisited this place after almost 10 years and the experience is better every single bite of the pizza. Simple ingredients but there’s magic in the food and friendly & smiling service. Place not to be missed if you are in Florence aka Firenze. Thanks for the amazing pizza experience and Peroni
