Ordered the Thai basil with ground chicken and it was delicious. We also ordered the spicy crispy catfish. It was a bit too crispy than we anticipated but also on the sweeter side. Food overall was very good and tasty. Very good service and attention to us.

Delicious Thai Food and Exceptional Service on a Valentine’s Day !
I’m still impressed by the incredible service and delicious food we received from Thai Grata on Valentines. We ordered dinner takeout for our family gathering, and despite the chaos of the holiday rush, they delivered (literally!).
The ordering process was seamless, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were told the food would be ready in about 30 minutes, and to our surprise, it was ready in 20!
The food was piping hot, and the portions were generous. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Massaman Curry. Each dish was expertly prepared, with bold flavors and tender ingredients.
What truly impressed us, however, was the quick service and attention to detail. The staff at Thai Grata clearly went above and beyond to ensure that our holiday dinner was special.
If you’re looking for delicious Thai food and exceptional service, look no further than Thai Grata ! They truly exceeded our expectations, especially on a busy holiday. We can’t wait to order from them again!

I went with a family member. See the pictures, we ordered green curry, spicy eggplant, papaya salad, tufu and fried naan. Every dish has its own distinctive flavor. The service was top. The server politely checked on us if we needed anything. The time we arrived was slow, it was almost between meal times. So the place was crowded at the time of our arrival, but everyone left shortly after we arrived. So we had the place to ourselves. I don’t know how the service could be if they were busier. Yes, I would certainly recommend to others to go, and I would go again.

Thai Grata was probably the fastest service I’ve ever had at any sit down restaurant. The food quality was beyond exceptional, and piping hot! Extremely delicious and the portion sizes are plentiful. I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken and my husband ordered Pad Se Yu. My dish was definitely in the top 3 that I’ve ever had, while my husband said he enjoyed it but wasn’t his favorite. Still tasty and well worth the visit!

On July 4th, we went to visit Burma Choice, but unfortunately, it was closed. However, we decided to try Thai Grata instead, and we were fortunate that it was open. The atmosphere at Thai Grata was pleasant and authentic, and there were many people there during lunchtime. To beat the heat, we ordered a large Thai Iced Tea, which was both refreshing and delicious. For our main dishes, we chose Crab Fried Rice and Pad See Ew. The Crab Fried Rice was average, while the Pad See Ew was quite good. Overall, we found the prices to be on the expensive side considering the taste. Each entree cost around $20, which felt a bit pricey.

It’s probably one of the better thai restaurants I know of in San Jose. If you have been to Thai Spice, Sweet Mango, Tarah Thai, Sai by Thai, and New Krung Thai. I say you need to try this place. We had the Tom Yum soup with chicken, pad see ew with thin noodle, yellow curry with chicken, and the pad gra-praw. It is a lot of food for two and we knew we were going to have takeout for lunch the next day. The flavor of the pad gra-praw is what I’ve been looking for since I came to San Jose. It’s a very nice Thai basil flavor. Definitely will come again.

Every Thai restaurant has tom yum, but those that also serve potak soup are fewer. Thai Grata serves potak soup, and that makes me a fan.
[Update] Came back with the family for a full meal. The multiple soup options continue to impress. The rest of the menu is more standard.
