Went here over this weekend and had some excellent, and I mean excellent sandwiches! Absolutely perfect size portions and great value for the money! Although it appears that it may be going through some pretty hefty renovations it’s a great place to go and get a drink or get food. The place is huge! Excellent patio outside if you want to watch boats on the river!

This place felt like the nostalgic older hometown sort of place that you can feel comfortable in. Nice set up and could deal with a crowd nicely. There are 5 gambling machines and a couple with multiple game choices. Unfortunately at this time they are in need of cook(s) to work in the fully operational kitchen to serve food in the bar and separate dining room. I’m thinking that may require some servers as well.? To my surprise there were separate bathrooms for the bar and dining areas. Interesting place and everyone was friendly. Was nice to chat with people you just met. I’m sure I’ll be returning soon.

Got three 3 sandwiches with one sent back and we literally had hair in everyone of them. Server/bartender totally had an attitude when brought to his attention and owner only took off the price of one (the cheapest) sandwich. New to the area and definitely won’t be back…

Nice place. We had lunch. The sandwiches were fantastic and reasonably priced. The service was spot on. We will be going back and it may become a regular thing.

Went for the St Pat’s weekend. Tap beer was alot of foam – certainly not a full glass. No tables on the patio. Went down the street and had a much better experience.

Awesome sandwiches!! The special meatball last week was amazing as well as the steak sandwich this week. Plus the dairy free ice cream with a shooter in it is amazing!

It’s fine. But for an ale house that advertises “gourmet sandwiches” it missed the mark on both counts. Beer selection was slim at best and the sandwiches were mediocre.
