Soooo good!!! I have been here twice now, and I’m addicted. They have specials every day, but I’m in love with the baked chicken. It is too good. It’s seasoned perfectly and so juicy. The smothered porkchops and the chopped steak are also good. The greens, the green beans, the mashed potatoes, cabbage, and rice are all to die for. And the lemonade is too good!!! No matter what you pick, it’s going to be good!

Very busy at lunch time. They have 2 lines. One line for the cafeteria type of excellent food, and one for orders. Order in advance if you can. The lines can be long. But they are worth the wait.

The food here is so good!! I just wish they had later hours for those of us that don’t get off work until 5 or 6. Unfortunately if you get there later than 4 they are pretty much out of everything. So go early and go often!! You won’t be disappointed!!

You ever had food so good that you got mad at it and all you could do is shake your head and talk to it like it offended you for being so good? Me neither until I had the fried pork chops, macaroni and cheese, yams , greens and cornbread today. I easily could have eaten it all in one sitting but it was plenty enough that I ate twice off of it today. All I can say is that if you hate your taste buds then keep eating that 5 dollar biggie bag. Just a few more dollars and you gonna get the love of somebody’s grandma home cooked soul food.
