Ashland Golf Club
Been coming here for 15 years and have always loved the atmosphere here. When it changed hands some changes were made some positive some negative. I really enjoy that children are allowed in the sports bar area now, I do miss the daily specials they offered prior to big red ownership. All thought the prices do keep going up here I feel the service out weighs this. The one thing that keeps us coming here is honestly the service. There are several employees that are exceptional here but there is one in particular Robin that provides the upmost guaranteed best service hands down. She treats you as if you’re a member of a country club. Literally. She is one of the reasons why we choose to come to Lavista Keno weekly for brunch instead of frequenting other brunch spots closer to our home.

We got the club sandwich last night when we went. It was very skippy on the amount of meat in the sandwich. Not like I have received it in the past. The potato soup was on point. The server was non existent in the smoker area, anything we need we had to go to the bar and get it including putting our order in for supper. When we did ask for Pop refill it was a long wait to get it. You have some great staff there such as Mary and Robin but there is others who don’t give a shit about us regular customers and at time can be rude about giving us service. It gets old when you have to get your own stuff to eat your food and clear your own table after you eat. It’s a Friday night and no wait staff in the smoker area it crazy. There had to be at least 4 tables or more that didn’t get bus after people left. I would suggest you find some one of your staff to focus on the smoker room on Friday nights we are paying customers as well as any other area in the building. It gets old feeling like we don’t matter.

OMG loved it here! And the hot beef is to die for! I even ate there twice in one week after blessing my mouth with the delectable hot beef! The Astro is close by and this is the place to go before the show! Plus you will want to take family and friends here every other day of the week!

I recently wrote a review for La Vista Keno, my friends and I play Keno there every week. I was very surprised that the General Manager, Baron read my review and approached me while I was there. I really appreciate that he took the time to speak with me and listen to my concerns. I feel like he really cared about some of the issues I mentioned in my last review. I have faith that the service will improve. I do go there to relax and have fun after a long week! Thank you Baron.

This place is so far the most visited place by my wife and me. The bar area serves food as well, set aside away from the diner, the same kitchen. So far, this is the only keno that has a keno kiosk machine in La Vista.

Came in for a late night of fun. It was mostly crickets. Dirty tables, full of fingerprints. This was in the bar area. Trash, napkins, losing pull tabs. I was shocked to see nobody cared enough to clean anything. What happened here?
