Ordered the birria pizza and the birria noodles- holy moly, incredible depth of flavor in the meat and broth! Many layers of delicious, and the crunchy outer layer of the birria pizza took me to another level. Spoiler alert, the pizza is large- which is exactly how it should be because I’m going to be needing those leftovers asap. Wow, was not expecting that- somebody back in the kitchen knows what the heck they are doing! Thanks for the great meal, highly recommend

It’s always so wonderful and super delicious to eat at this cute little restaurant. This should be nominated for best Latin American food. It’s so delicious. I will always leave the best for the best! The food here is perfect, La Finca doesn’t even come close because they got these huge plates but very little food so they spread it to make it look much. Here at Mary’s is best of the best. Food is so delicious, very well cooked. The price is excellent for all their menu. This is the place I highly recommend, not fancy but very well decorated.

Stopped to get A turkey leg at the Yamboree and seen this place to park. It said “Authentic” hmmm. All we get around here is Tex-Mec. The Lord lead me here for a reason. The food was fabulous. Real authentic Mexican food. I had the pork Sopes. Didn’t even know what they were. I can tell you now they are AWESOME. Two Sopes piled high with pork, beans, cabbage, pico, and I had cilantro added. Mmmm good! Couldn’t eat but one with bean and rice. Little small place huge on taste . Service was exceptional and she was very nice and courteous. The price was great too. $13.99 with chips and dang good salsa!

This place is spectacular IMO. Have had the signature birria and the pizzadilla. They were both delicious. Took my eldest son (he had the birria burrito) and he is hooked. He told me I didn’t do him any favors financially by showing him that place. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend

Birria noodles! I’ll say it again, Birria noodles!! Omg the broth was cooked perfectly, with so much depth of flavor, spice, and freshness. The meat was literally melting in my mouth and the noodles were just the right texture. Not to be forgotten are the street tacos! Mary’s does not skimp on the meat, and the al-pastor is a must!! The homemade salsa and chips was also a wonderful way to start our meal. Counting down the days until we get to go again! #GoogleGal

Mary’s is a small, low capacity authentic Mexican restaurant, tucked in on a quiet street near downtown Gilmer, TX. The food was exceptional, although they were small plates. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody craving Mexican cuisine that offers authenticity and light helpings.

Everything was outstanding – from the homemade salsa (I loved the red and green) and to the tacos and birria dipping sauce. BTW – I’ve been eating tacos all my life – and all over America and Mexico – and never knew about dipping them in sauce. Mind blown. They were fantastic!
