Golden mountain was the place me and my girls would go to regularly when they were very little. The people there knew which booth we sat at, they knew our order when I would call for takeout. My girls felt like celebrities when we went. Well, something happened and it went downhill so we haven’t gone in many many years until tonight.We ordered delivery. Omg, it was so good. The first bite brought so many memories. Tasted just like it did all those years ago. And, the portion size of everything, we will be eating for days. My middle daughter who is now 19 was so excited that the first thing she asked was “I wonder if they remembered our order”. We still order the same thing lol. I told her I doubt it but we will be going there in person to see if our table is still there. Thank you so much! We needed this little pick me up in our life right now.

I’ve been coming here for greater portion of 27 years, I do not frequent the area. I was working out in this location. I probably haven’t been to this restaurant since I was a teenager probably early 20s can’t believe this place is still here. It’s a generation restaurant family business. The Son took over. Last time seeing him, he was an infant running around the restaurant.
I had the large Won Ton soup , was very good. Very Hot (temperature) I ordered the house special lo mein comes with shrimp, pork, chicken and beef. Piping hot. Did not have to wait too long at all. Food came out really fast. I was seated quickly. the restaurant was very clean. Served large portions. Many people ordering takeout orders while I was dining. The dining room started to fill up while I was there. Very good food here definitely worth a visit. Lunch specials.

I just move here，First time trying them pretty good and nice portions . We walked and a big warm welcome from the staff, food was excellent. My date got the Pork Lomein and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Super friendly guests and lovely decor. it’s really good portions . Tasty food for first time try I will be back.

I came here to pickup a delivery order and it was the most disorganized place I’ve went in a long time. I think the place had a late employee negatively impact things because she did show up but it was just a miserable experience. I can’t imagine this place is worth frequenting anytime soon. the bathroom was probably rarely cleaned and the monster dining room was empty.

Took my wife to the Golden Mountain Chinese Restaurant tonight for her birthday. Each one of us ordered a combination plate. First of all, my wife opens her napkin, and a bug comes crawling out. I told the only person working there, and it did not seem to bother him. I went to the booth behind us, there was another bug dead on the table. Told him we were moving to other side of restaurant. The food came, no taste whatsoever. We did not finish the meal and left. Will definitely never return their again.

Best Chinese food is in Ohio，we been here more than 10 years ,the food is always hot and delicious. Excellent food and the people is super friendly here, Do it, get something you like. Inside is gorgeous,clean and beautiful,highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for years, and I always order take out. Tonight, we decided to dine in. Would not recommend. We had a party of ten, and we were there for 30 minutes before they even took our orders for appetizers. They were moderately busy, but not busy enough for us to wait that long. I’m giving them four stars because the food is delicious, but the service is not the best inside the restaurant. The women’s bathroom was also very dirty. One stall had a broken toilet that was clogged, and the other stall didn’t have a functioning lock. Regarding the food, everything is great. Amazing shrimp chips, must try. Good egg drop soup and crab ragoons, good fried rice and beef with veggies, and excellent shrimp with lobster house. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese, don’t go here. ORDER TAKE OUT. You will not be disappointed. Eat in, and you will be.

Two stars because the young hostess was pleasant and eagerly offered to make a special order, which was General Tao’s tofu. Sadly the meal was one of the worst in my life. They used a Styrofoam box and poured hot sauce over the already hot food and melted the plastic everywhere it touched. A miracle the box didn’t leak. My plan was to eat some then take the rest home but the box was stapled shut over the clasp which l destroyed on opening. Side was cooked but refrigerated – broccoli and 2 cute square slices of carrots. Vegetable egg roll was good and cooked perfectly. I paid $1.50 extra for a combo so l got the egg roll and half the rice, which was white. They did a good job breading and frying the tofu. Maybe it was my imagination but l was tasting the box for hours and it seemed like tiny pieces of it were sticking to my teeth. I was pretty hungry so instead of marching back in immediately l ate the egg roll and a few pieces of tofu then took it back in. The hostess was very concerned but didn’t know what to do. She explained the melted box with, “The sauce was very hot,” and offered, “l can put it in a new box for you.” I declined the new box. I left it and asked her to show it to the cook which she said she would. No offer of a new meal or a refund but l didn’t ask either because l ate some of it and didn’t want the aggravation at the time. They seem like nice people l hope they get their act together.
