Decent food. Definitely a solid choice for vegetarian food.
We ordered a variety of dishes like pad Thai with soy tofu and soy chicken, Thai green and Thai red curry. Serving sizes were adequate, they gave us good portion sizes.

The Pad Thai was tasty and served with generous portion of vegetables, however it also came with a portion of rice that we had no idea what to eat with, not to mention the rice was slightly undercooked. The same rice and vegetables serving was also given with the green and red curries, which tasted great but could’ve tased better with the cooked rice.
The pineapple fried rice with soy chicken was excellent, it was my first time trying the dish.
I would recommend this place to anybody who want to try vegan Thai food.

The food has completely gone downhill from what it used to be. I ordered three different soups – Vegetable, Tom Yum, and Wonton – and they were basically clones of each other. Not only that, but all three were filled with the exact same giant bagged frozen veggies and huge onion chunks. Nothing fresh, nothing chopped by a chef, nothing cooked with intention. Just the same frozen mix dumped into three soups with a slightly different broth poured over it.

It’s shockingly lazy and shows zero pride or effort. This isn’t restaurant food – it’s assembly-line, fast-food quality at best and feels like serious corner-cutting.

And somehow this cost $59.

PS: I rarely leave negative reviews – I genuinely try to support local businesses. But this was unacceptable, and I think other customers should know what to expect.

My wife has been telling me about Bodhi Kosher Thai for years — that they are the most authentic Thai food in the kosher world. On a recent trip to LA, I finally got to experience what she was talking about and was not let down.

They were not especially busy when we arrived, around 1PM on a Thursday. Owner was courteous and gave us an appropriate amount of time to peruse the menu. After some deliberation (my wife knew what she wanted, but I took longer), we ordered the Fresh Roll, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Curry Noodle, Damage Beef and Thai Iced Tea. The Fresh roll rice paper was delightful and the Pad Thai was serviceable. The Curry was authentic and the Thai Iced Tea had an unusual flavor due to the spices that I recommend for the culinary experience.

However, the two big stars were definitely the Tom Yum soup, for its amazingly explosive and hearty flavor, and, unexpectedly, the Damage Beef. I ordered this for the name alone, not expecting anything special, but we were taken completely by surprise. The Damage Beef was extremely addictive and couldn’t stop eating it over all the other dishes. The entire trip may have been worth it just to discover how delicious the Thai interpretation of Beef Jerky could be.

LA is not hurting for kosher options, but we definitely look forward to our next visit, at least to get a few more orders of Damage Beef.

Just moved to the area nearby and wanted some pho or a rich noodle soup. Was not very excited about “kosher Thai,” but decided to do a takeout of their pho with rice noodles. Added soft white tofu. OMG SHOCKER! IT WAS AMAZING! The veggies were very fresh, the broth was sensational, and the serving was most likely for two people. Cleverly, the rice noodles were packaged separately, so there was plenty of bounce and no sog – fragrant, rich soup, crunchy vegetables and yummy noodles. I’m not ashamed to say I ate everything in one sitting. I will definitely be back, because this neighborhood gem deserves detailed investigations 🙂

The food is delicious, but the attitude from the host (I believe owner) could be much warmer. When we had a small concern about a drink, the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. A little more friendliness and customer care and service would really elevate the experience.

Kicking paying customers out of your restaurant won’t earn you a 5 star review.

Absolutely rude and ridiculous.
Food was very low quality (no taste, and frozen veges clumped together) and ridiculously overpriced.

Lady was extremely rude. We ordered and ate their. Then she kicked me out of the restaurant for eating a piece of vegan pastry I had with me. She said this is a vegan restaurant, when I told her my dessert was vegan, she still kicked me out, in front of my friends and family.

We had plans to feed our toddler after our lunch but we couldn’t because of her and had to go back to the car and feed him.

Restaurant was completely empty (no wonder).
Also this place is not vegan. They have egg in their noodles unless you specifically ask for eggless.

Would never go back or recommend after what happened with us.

This restaurant offers vegetarian Thai food. There is no meat or chicken in this place. We got chicken nuggets and beef damage for appetizers and Teryakki and steak foe enteere and they were all delicious and yummy. Will definitely try it again. Also the coconut juice was really good.

Excellent thai food! Every dish was delicious as was their iced Thai tea. We had a great meal and shared the orange chicken, ginger chicken and the paradise beef. We also had a vegetable soup and a tom kha soup. Both were excellent!

Great food and it’s all vegan! The mango and sweet rice dessert was great. Only complaint is that the veggies didn’t have any seasoning but the dish was still good overall.
