I came into Go Grisanti with my family while we were in Germantown for a soccer tournament. We’re from out of state and staying in a hotel for the weekend — there’s eight of us total — and after our match we were all starving.
Right away, I was impressed by the restaurant’s brand and the cozy, homestyle interior. The cashier was incredibly friendly, professional, and patient with us while we ordered. Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered three entrées instead of one entrée and two family meals. I wasn’t fully focused and didn’t realize the pricing difference until after we had already left. That mistake was completely on me.
When I called to explain, the manager/owner was unbelievably understanding and went above and beyond to help us out. He invited us to come back and generously provided a whole tray of pasta (around $60 worth), an abundant amount of breadsticks, and a large salad — and he still let us keep the food we originally ordered. My parents and I are so grateful and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
This kind of customer care is rare these days. Go Grisanti truly deserves 5 stars — not only for their kindness, but also for their food. The pasta, breadsticks, and salad were all incredible — easily the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time, and by far the best “fast food” Italian spot I’ve ever been to.

Ordered family pack of penne and chicken alfredo…excellent. Salad and chicken picatta very good. Everything cooked to order while I waited. The gentleman that took order on 12/28(Saturday) very helpful and friendly. Many thx for my birthday coupon.

The pasta was good, but I was extremely disappointed to pay something like $7 extra to add grilled chicken. That might have been all of one singled diced grilled chicken tender–diced up so small that it was hard to even get on the fork.

Food and service were delicious! We ordered 4 meals and a couple of sides. Only suggestion I have is it would have been nice to have the cartons marked with name of dish/meal inside. We had to open them all just to find one dish. We couldn’t have been more delighted with our meal.

The best food I’ve had in a long time! Wonderful staff. We’ll be back!! Highly recommend the stuffed shells with the creamed spinach and my husband loved the pepperoni and sausage flatbread.

We ordered from Go Grisantis on Saturday night, and it was fantastic. The Miss Mary salad was incredible—fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed. We also got the spaghetti and ravioli combo and the rigatoni with meat sauce. Every dish was spot-on. The meat sauce was flavorful and rich, and the pasta was authentic and perfectly cooked.
My only complaint is that it took me so long to discover this amazing Italian takeout option in Germantown. Top-notch all the way!

My husband said it was the best eggplant parmesan he’s ever had and my Miss Mary’s salad with blackened salmon was heavenly. The tiramisu was excellent and a great ending to the meal. It is really a to go place but we sat outside on cute little tables. Service was fantastic. The owner came out and graciously welcomed us. We will be back for sure next time we are in Memphis!
