Always has been great… Recently frustrated by a large increase in prices. A roll that I have eaten for years that was 12$ went up to 19$. Basically a tempura Philly roll. Definitely not a 19$ roll. Just so conflicted now. I cannot justify paying that much for something that I can get any other Sushi restaurant for 12$ max. When I complained last time they told me since I was a long time customer (and since the roll is not even on the menu) that they would still charge me 12$. Guess that little perk is over since the owner who told me that rang up my bill. Still tasted great though. Wish them luck and hope they understand why I won’t be as loyal anymore.

Their fish tasted amazing. It was very fresh and delicious. Can’t stress that part enough. I did find the menu to be lacking for sushi though. I only saw specialty rolls which were around $18 a roll. That got rather pricey pretty quick.

I went to Midori with high hopes, but my overall eating experience was atrocious. The food was not as good as I expected, and I found two hairs in different parts of my dish. When I notified the waitress the first time, I was brought a replacement soup, and after the second time, I sent the food back without finishing. The owner of the restaurant came to the table, and not only did she fail to offer adequate reparations for this grievous error in food preparation, but she also accused me and my girlfriend of lying about the situation. On top of that, she told my girlfriend it was her fault for fixing her hair in the restaurant, even though this occurred before any food was even brought to the table. This experience ruined our night and made us never want to return.

Best price for quality sushi! My wife and I can get our fill for under $30! The staff is very friendly as well. I think it would be among the best if the atmosphere was updated a bit.

Had a very pleasant meal. Sushi rolls were flavorful and on par with the quality of other sushi restaurants in the Milwaukee area. Service was good; waitstaff were friendly and attentive.

Good service and a great sampler platter from the back page of the menu. The sashimi slices were thick and flavorful, and the dragon roll had just enough sauce and spice included in it as to make extra dunking in Wasabi and soy sauce unnecessary.

Don’t eat here, Wisconsin. You deserve better. The food was very plain. The rice wasn’t fresh. The waitress initially took my food to the wrong table, and when a different waitress caught the mistake, the first waitress didn’t interrupt her conversation to bring it over. The place is staffed by Korean speakers who referred to some of their Caucasian customers as “babo” right in front of them, and smiled at them while doing it (google it; it’s not a compliment).

Chef Lee is amazing. Great talking with him at the sushi bar. Super volcano and battera fantasy rolls are excelent. Quiet comfortable atmosphere with good service.
