I ordered a passion fruit cocktail and asked for no spice. It still came a little spicy, but it was actually really delicious and pretty strong.
For appetizers, we had the truffle fries those were good and the calamari. The calamari didn’t have as much flavor as I expected, so it was just okay.
For my main dish, I got the spicy vodka rigatoni. I thought it would be mildly spicy, but it was very spicy, so if you’re sensitive to spice, I wouldn’t pick that one.
For dessert, we tried the mochi. The sauce it came with was yummy, but there was too much dough and not enough sauce to balance it out.
Overall, it’s a cute spot to try, and the vibe and drinks are nice. I’m glad we went, but it’s not a place I’d go back to every weekend. Still worth visiting at least once for the ambiance and experience!
We came during lunch, so no wait time and we chose the corner table , very spacious if you have young kids.
My husband was content with his hamburger with fontina cheese and mixed greens salad.
Service is prompt, attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is nice and comfy with water views.
Their outdoor seating was warm today despite the umbrellas. We opted to sit at the curved end of a half booth seating.
A bit pricey for the portion though.
Note: The drive from Northern Blvd through Plandome Rd., Main St. and Shore Rd. is pleasant, verdant and with water views at certain parts .
Food was amazing, specially the branzino, the salads and the corn!!! We loved, the vibes were great and the service was good too! I’d come back!
I’ll start with the positives, because there are some. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Like, truly stunning. The staff on the floor? Fantastic. Attentive, kind, and doing their best to keep the night enjoyable. Which makes it all the more confusing how the food managed to be mid. Not bad. Not amazing. Just… there.
At one point, we politely asked the DJ if he could play more Bad Bunny—since the crowd was clearly enjoying the music. This somehow warranted commentary from the manager, who felt the need to jump in and let us know the DJ had already played “four songs.” Thank you for that clarification. I didn’t realize there was a max amount of songs to play. My mistake!
Later in the night, while the open bar was still open, we asked our waiters (who had been serving us all evening) for another round of drinks. Enter the manager again, asking if we were “bothering” his staff. A truly welcoming approach to hospitality.
We still managed to have fun thanks to the gorgeous space and amazing staff. But whether this cost $225 or $25, the unnecessary remarks from michael were a huge turn off for the overall experience. maybe he needs to come back down to earth.
