After hiking in the morning, we decided we wanna to stop at this place before we went shopping at Costco. I’m a huge fan of poke and so I’ve been looking forward to stopping there for a while and it did not disappoint. I had a large bowl custom-made, which gave you three scoops of a protein, and my wife had the smaller regular one which gives you two scoops. The main difference is you get one extra scoop for two extra dollars. The person that prepared, our meal couldn’t have been nicer and did a fantastic job. And the food itself was excellent. Would definitely go again.

The food was good, I just couldn’t make up my mind on what I wanted to try so I put some of everything on the bowl, it was delicious.

Food and options were amazing! Only 2 downfalls for us. The cucumbers were old and tasted sour. And the customer service could use a bit more friendliness. It was our first time visiting this location , so we were not too familiar with their options. I felt rushed. I would have loved to try more of their options. Not everyone that comes to these establishments is a regular – all Poke places vary in options and ways of serving. I think a little more customer service to tourists would have made this place excellent for us!

This review is based on the Tuna Hana with rice at the Palm Desert location.
Kinda underwhelming when you look at the size of the bowl, amount of product vs the price paid. I wish it would have been 1/3 larger. The bowl had about 10-12 quarter inch sized cubes of poke tuna fish, a healthy dollop of avocado and imitation crab with slices of cucumber and edamame beans. Taste was good, and service was fast.

Hello! Everything was okay! I did inhale my poke bowl…. so that’s a good sign! Haha. Notheless… the rice wasn’t fresh and I can’t help but be a stickler for good rice… also, I wish I’d have more sauce options or furikake / Masago as a topping.. was it good? Yeah it was good… but if you’ve got a somewhat refined taste for sushi / poke.. this might not be the spot.
Check it out yourself!

Exactly what I was hoping it would be and for a more than fair price! Went with the Tuna Hana and added a scoop of shrimp plus whatever sides they recommended and it was perfect. I’m a big dude and it was more than enough food for one sitting. And don’t judge that I was using a fork as I was there for sport, not for leisure…

My friends and I waited for Pokéhana’s opening with so much anticipation. When they finally did, they definitely did not disappoint. Their food is fresh and the proportions will fill you up in no time. I love the variety and their sauces are just so good! Also, their drinks are a plus, but their desserts are literally the icing on the cake (rain drop cakes, mochi, and macaron ice cream <3). The owners and workers are super patient and really nice. The whole restaurant itself has a chill atmosphere and everything is really clean too!

The best value for you buck when your craving sushi. For the price of 1 roll you get a huge bowl of fresh deconstructed sushi roll with endless options. Super fresh. Super yummy! Usually eat have and save the rest and it taste just as good later. The owners are really nice and welcoming as well.
