Taste of Belgium is a restaurant group of Belgian-inspired eateries. We take traditional Belgian recipes and we twist them; we take American classics and we Belgianize them. We believe elegant cuisine can be served with a down-to-earth attitude and humble foods can be served elegantly. We take the food we create and the service we provide very seriously, but not ourselves. Waffles, Chicken, Beer. Eat Like a Belgian, Drink Like a Belgian, Live Like a Belgian!

Fantastic service and atmosphere. Our server was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Her name was Lauren if I am not mistaken.
Food is a little pricey but tastes okay. Their house made ciabatta is fantastic though. Their waffles are a little small but quite dense and filling. We also tried their mimosa flight as well. That was definitely worth the price and they were all tasty. Overall, I think this place is just a little too pricey.

I’ve been to this location twice and both times my waffle was not fully cooked in the middle, very suprising since that is the main focus of this establishment. Though findlay market and downtown cinci location were top notch. It’s very inconvenient I can’t go to the location closest to me, please work on your consistency.

Trendy looking, but I am never coming back! Because of this single experience at this one restaurant, I have judged the entire franchise a failure unworthy of ever being frequented regardless of how good the product might be. My point: When your waitstaff is limited, just be honest with your possible patrons and limit your seating. I wait 20 minutes in my car to get the message to be seated ( I have no issues with this), but “ it is “ when I was sat for 20 minutes more ….. crickets not a “hello!” The single waitress of the whole area was overwhelmed, the other tables were not bussed, and other waitstaff/hosts/whomever kept stepping out to count empty tables and not inquire with us or the others …. They Did get drinks but still waiting for a food order and they were stuck waiting. Nope not happening! I’m sorry. Goodbye.

The best waffles I have ever had. They even have to-go packs of waffles. Tried their wrap, waffle and egg and turkey sausage. Personal favorite breakfast place in the city. Can I also say that we wiped the plates clean ✔️✔️✔️.
Wish I could go every weekend

My family went to Taste of Belgium to celebrate a birthday and the food was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant has a wide ranging menu so everyone will be able to find something to eat and the waffles are thick and delicious. Can’t wait to be back!

Stopped by with a new-to-Amelia resident who wanted to give it a try and having had a good experience at the North Market (Columbus/now closed) location we were enthusiastic to treat them to dessert.
This location wasn’t very busy and was clean. We were quickly seated and our drink orders filled. We informed the wait-staff we were just wanting dessert, but the menu made it feel like a guessing game. We tried to order the key lime tart. Nope. On the menu, but not available. The same situation with the Belgian Pop Tart. The waitress informed us that they receive menu items on a rotating basis so not everything that’s on the menu is actually on the menu. The buckeyes are about the size of a 50 cent piece and you get one; with that information in mind we opted for the crepes. I can’t speak for the other guests other than to repeat a shared experience of them being described as “doughy”. My experience with the hazelnut spread and banana crepe was similar with the crepe being doughy and the bananas being unripe, but with enough hazelnut spread it was ok.
Do I like Taste of Belgium? Sure. Was this a good visit to introduce a new person to? Not so much.

Jen, Ryan and Ricky were so much fun. What great attitudes and service. It was our first time ever to Taste of Belgium and we really enjoyed everything. The beer was the best we have had in over a year. Chimay on tap was a great surprise! Thank you all for a great evening. We will be back!!!

Food is alright, if you really like Belgium waffles you’ll probably like it here. They have a nifty mimosa flight which I liked. Place was clean, so that was good. Staff here are very friendly too!
I’d recommend the chicken and waffles or just a regular ol breakfast to get the best bang for your buck.
Bacon was not fresh according to some people at my table womp womp. Also the sweet waffles / crepes aren’t worth imo for the size, the waffles are very small.

My husband and I visited Taste of Belgium for breakfast after we sampled their food on the Sites and Bites tour from Riverside Food Tours. Their waffles are fantastic and so unique. We learned from the tour that they use a dough rather than a batter to make them, so it is much heavier and denser than most waffles. They also use pearl sugar, which makes the waffle naturally sweet and syrup is unnecessary. We had also tried goetta on the food tour and I wanted to have it again, so I got the breakfast platter with goetta and a waffle. My husband ordered the Over the Top Waffle, which was delicious too! We also took home a few packages of waffles to give to family and friends (and some for ourselves)! We would definitely come back here. The service was great!
