This place is located near Starbuck, Five Guys and Costco in Hayward. I have tried different sandwiches and they are all really good. On my last visit,I ordered the Nacho Boy Sandwich with everything on Duch bread. All ingredients were fresh and the bread had a nice crunch. You can order online for pick up. If you go there and order on the spot expect to wait about 10-15 minites. for your order.

Sandwiches at Ike’s are always good. But the sandwiches aren’t that big and they are pricey. This Ike’s just opened as of this posting so lines are still long and we had to wait 30 minutes for our sandwich. The space isn’t very big so it can get crowded. There are only about 8ish small tables and not a lot of space to wait in line. I’m sure the lines will die down significantly after a few months.
It’s in the same plaza as the Starbucks right next to the Costco gas station. Plenty of parking available in the lot so no worries on that end.
Overall, it’s great to see an Ike’s in Hayward. We need more solid place like this to eat!

I realized the last time i came to THIS location was a year ago and now i remember why… Either the people who make the sandwiches have absolutely NO IDEA what other Ike’s locations sandwiches look like OR the owner tells them to make a $13 sandwich look like this?!? Either way… Ridiculous. So disappointing and I’m being nice!!!

I cannot believe the kind of experience I had at Ike’s Sandwiches when we tried to get quick dinner sandwiches at the Hayward store. The food quality is nothing like any of the other Ike’s stores I’ve been to. We ordered The Sometimes I’m a Vegetarian and The Gladiator Sandwiches. The pesto sauce in both the sauces just tasted stale. What’s worse is that the Gladiator came with eggplant- which was raw through and through, and the breading was barely cooked and tasted only of oil. It was practically unpalatable. I would never never recommend this store to anyone who cares about their health.

Good tasting fresh sandwich don’t get me wrong but I feel like I’m not getting my monies worth every time I buy a sandwich here the price point to meat ratio is off. Too pricey for an average sandwich with very minimal meat.

I tried the Ike’s Reuben. For $17+ it was not even close to worth it. I’m guessing maybe a QP of their pastrami and the rest was all bread and veg. Plus it tasted nothing close to a Reuben. The bread was Dutch Crunch but had a texture like a KFC biscuit. Very disappointing. I won’t likely go back. Just way too pricy for an, at best, average sandwich. It didn’t help the place was a mess. Not a single dining table was clean. Not even 1.
