This was our first visit to the restaurant, and it certainly exceeded our expectations. It’s conveniently located just across the street from the 24-hour laundromat we’re using, making it an easy choice for dinner.
My husband and I decided to dine here because we were looking for a nearby spot that would also satisfy our appetites. We were greeted with outstanding customer service from the cashier, who I suspect may also be the restaurant manager (the guy in the photo). He was cheerful even though it was after 8 PM. The cashier was incredibly attentive, seamlessly moving between the counter, greeting customers, and helping in the kitchen. I really appreciated his presence. He even handed me the restroom key, which had a cute little brush attached to it.
When we asked for recommendations, he mentioned that most customers come for the burgers, but the menu features a wide array of options, including appetizers, meats, chicken, Mexican dishes, and seafood. We found ourselves wanting to order more, but we typically prefer lighter meals in the evening. We chose the burger and enjoyed a generous portion of fries, which were cut thick. Initially, we had planned to go to McDonald’s, but we’re glad we ended up here—the servings are much larger!
My husband ordered horchata while I opted for the cucumber house blend, both of which were fantastic—I even had two glasses!
The atmosphere of the restaurant felt very homey, especially since my husband is Hispanic. There are also arcade games available, and we noticed that two tables were enjoying happy hour during our visit. As a Filipino, I was pleased to see dishes that resembled Bulalo and Sinigang, as well as various seafood options. Those are definitely on our list for next time. It’s a shame we’re moving soon from Bellflower, but we’ll make an effort to return to Norwalk to eat here again.
While it’s not a fancy restaurant with glamorous decor, it offers excellent value for your money. You will definitely leave feeling full and satisfied with their delicious food.

Well, for the price of the carne asada burrito, it was smaller in size and a little less meaty than other restaurants/fast foods. The rice seemed to take over the burrito’s ingredients–just my opinion. Beans maybe better. Thank you.

Stumbled upon this place today and boy was I glad I did. Lots of things to choose from…finally settled upon the Senior Chili Rellenos dinner, Fried Zucchini, and Tuna Sandwich with Fries. Each meal comes with a cup of Charro Beans Everything was delicious. Service was fast, very fresh and tasty foods. Loved it❤️❤️❤️

I used to go here when I was younger a lot and today I decided to go back but I won’t be coming back ever again!!! If I can give them a zero star i would.
The worker kept giving me an attitude until a point where I got really mad and I started crying I had to leave the restaurant and the food was nasty I order a Menudo and there was barely any hominy and a lot of fat and I mean a lot and I told the guy about it and he told me have you even ate menudo before and I said yes!! I’m not stupid Ik how menudo is supposed to be And other stuff happen too And I’m not a person who will ask for there money back but after what happened today I did

First of all, I’m never one to leave a review. But I felt this was necessary. My family and I came to this place after craving some Mexican food. Sad to say we are extremely disappointed. To my surprise I see many great reviews about this place. But I’m only speaking on my behalf and HONEST review. They gave my husband pre heated tacitos. They seemed very much like the ones you will buy pre-packaged from costco (I know this because I buy those every time) nothing tasted appetizing. Very dry as you can see in the photos. These were the worst $50. We’ve ever spent. Save yourself some time and go to a real authentic Mexican restaurant even if there’s a wait time.

Loved the shrimp and fish soup it was so damn good!! Husband had the pork chop and eggs breakfast and he also gave it two thumbs up!! The staff is very friendly and they bring out your order to your table along with fresh salsa and chips to start you out with… Will be going back soon to get another helping of the fish and shrimp soup served with tortillas!!

Went there today for take away. Their menu is so extensive on the wall that I didn’t know where to look. So I just asked him if they have double cheeseburgers. He said yes would you like a combo? I said yes and thats the only thing I ordered. It came out to $17 even. I though damn for a combo? I paid him the $17. Then I started looking at the menu on the wall and finally found the double cheeseburger combo listed for $12.25. So I asked him why did my order come out to $17? He said the tax. I said tax is not $4.75. Then he checked and said oh its $14.25. The prices on the wall are old prices. I said ok it still doesn’t come out to $17. He then apologized and said he overcharged me and refunded me the difference. That aside, the food was really good. Fries stayed crispy on the drive home. Just beware of the prices.
