This is the central campus location for UDairy Creamery, and I LOVE that I can also get food here. My favorite is the breakfast toast with hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, basil and olive oil. It’s seriously AMAZING! I’m not sure what kind of bread they are using, but it’s phenominal.
There is a lot of space to eat or study, and, of course, it’s attached to Barnes and Noble, so that’s a major plus.

It’s 6:13 PM right now. There’s a guy wearing a hat at the front, and I ordered a butter pecan–flavored ice cream. He didn’t say hi, make eye contact, or talk at all. I don’t know what kind of attitude that is, but he should show some respect to customers, we’re paying for the service here. Is it because I’m an international student? If he doesn’t like his job, that’s fine, but he should at least know how to behave with people. I’m totally disappointed with this staff member

Udairy makes their own I scream from their own cows! I like their chocolate. Their apple ice cream is seasonal… it was not good lol. I didn’t like the dry chunks of whatever it was in the apple ice cream.

It’s a nice plave to study and the student workers are nice. Aside from the ice cream, the food is very much … okay. Overpriced for food that is often bland, stale, and cheap in general. Ordered an overpriced (~6ish dollars) cold brew coffee and literally got a half-filled cold cup of coffee no ice? Also paid $3 for a rock hard brownie. I’ll stick to ice cream. Also no mat at the front entrance which creates a slipping hazard in wet and cold weather.

Great ice cream. Did a “flight” of four different flavors. Fair price. ( the book store beside is very very expensive)

I go here for great tasting ice cream….they have I believe 2 locations. Not sure if the one in Wilmington Market st. Is still in operation. You can also purchase certain ice in to go containers.

This place is disgusting. There’s roaches, fruit flies, mold on the food and just a lack of cleanliness throughout. The food is just old rebranded BJ’s/Costco goods, and is NOT fresh (or good). I do work in the seating area and I once watched a women return 2 wraps in a row because they had mold on the inside. I have no idea how they make such bad coffee either, especially when they allegedly use little goat beans. The manager is clearly apathetic to this place’s image and quality. If you go here, avoid everything except the ice cream.
Edit: I guess the response proves my point about the owner not caring since they claim it is a rumor, rather than asking for details about my experiences.

I want to start by saying the ice cream was very good! I got the trick or treat ice cream with multiple different types of candy in it. However the waffle cone that I got it in was soft and a little stale. It appeared to not be cooked fully. Paying the extra $1.75 for the waffle cone was definitely not worth it and the $6 total was highly priced considering how much you get. Not nearly as much ice cream as other college creameries give out.

By far and away the best ice cream in the state. This is a high butter fat product from local cows. The student staff is outstanding. It’s awesome to have this at the Bob. I still miss their Wilmington store.

I love to support the UD farm by getting ice cream at the UDairy Creamery, so I decided to come try the new Main Street cafe. I ordered the chipotle turkey “grilled cheese” and was not impressed. The bread on the sandwich was very dense and seemed quite stale, and the rest of the ingredients were just not that tasty, didn’t taste much chipotle sauce at all. It was not really a grilled cheese, more so just a sandwich. They say they use their own cheese from the cows on the farm, so that is pretty neat. Overall though, didn’t feel the quality was worth the price based on what I could get elsewhere for a similar cost.
Sandwiches were sitting pre-made on trays in a display case, not sure how long they had been there for – and if that’s why mine was stale? The sandwiches didn’t seem overly complex, so I would have expected them to be made fresh to order.
The South College Ave location is always staffed by students, but it doesn’t seem as though this cafe is. The woman working seemed too old to be a student and was friendly enough, but spoke with a sort of condescending tone.
Did not order any ice cream this time, but it appears they do not have as many flavors as the location on South College Ave has. Still seems to be a convenient spot to stop and get a cone while on Main Street. I personally would not go back for the other food items.
