Tucked away in the corner of the Bowling Alley, is one of the best hidden gems for breakfast/lunch. Parking can be a little tight, but there’s enough parking!
We got in around 10am on a Saturday, and it was busy busy! That’s always a good sign in my book!
Service was super friendly, just give a little time when it’s busy, it’s a decent amount of tables to get around.
Here’s what we ordered!
Chicken Katsu Donburi: This was a comfy dish, adding a little heat, it made it perfect!
Daily Special Chicken Katsu Curry: This was a comfort dish for sure. The vegetables were tender, the curry was great, that chicken was cooked thoroughly, overall a great dish!
If you want some amazing Hawaiian Diner foods, I recommend this spot!

Gardena Bowl is a family favorite! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s never lost its charm. The food is always amazing—comforting, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Their fried rice is top-notch, the oyako donburi and chicken katsu always hit the spot, and the banana pecan pancakes? Absolutely irresistible. If I lived closer, I’d be here every single day.

I promise this place is one of a kind! They are super sweet and kind! It takes me back in time for sure! I ordered their famous garlic chicken and fried rice with sausage. I loved both, but I think their fried rice with bacon is much better! Overall, my experience here surpassed my expectations! The garlic chicken has a lot of flavor that I didn’t think it was going to have! Super good! My only bad thing about it is that it does have nerves & pieces of fat, but other than that, it was delicious !
Need to come for sure !

This is the place we always think of when we are hungry. It’s located inside Gardena Bowl (bowling alley). Large portion and delicious! Their food is Hawaiian, Asian, American with a lot of varieties on the menu. I love their bacon fried rice, tempura, saimin noodle and pancakes.

Talk about a hidden gem! We hit up Gardena Bowl for some games and had a fantastic time. The place has a charming, throwback atmosphere that feels welcoming and genuine. While it might be a bit older with a limited number of lanes, that just adds to its classic appeal. We had a great night of bowling and good food, making it the perfect spot for a casual, fun evening.

An interesting cafe location inside a bowling alley, but it gives you that homey island life like you would find in Hawaii. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and test out the authenticity and I must say they are all legit. Their Misoyaki Butterfish has a nice texture, a bit of sweetness and flavor from Miso and a buttery taste. The Lau Lau (steamed pork wrapped inside Taro leaves) and Kim Chi fried rice with Portuguese sausages are savory and super flavorful to each bite. The Saimin (Hawaiian soft wheat egg noodles with char siu) is exactly how it should taste just like in Hawaii. We got a Loco Moco plate to go and it did not disappoint because the gravy has a nice texture and flavor to it. We will definitely be back in the near future to try other dishes.
