The bar experience was average but the service was fantastic – I chatted with the same bartender who coincidentally served me the night before elsewhere in the resort and he continued to be awesome. Left a great tip on an okay beer.

I thought the mai tai was pretty good. Staff was super nice. The food menu is what you’d expect at a resort bar. Those loaded waffle fries hit the spot though!!! Pretty dang good.

I had a Ruben sandwich and waffle fries. Even though the items are a la carte, I could not finish my sandwich and my husband and I split the fries. They also had live music that was fire!!

So to sit outside in a shaded area with the sweet breeze of Waikiki air blowing by is wonderful. They have tvs on with great sports, for those of us who love sports, this is one of the few places you can go to see them. For those who don’t? Don’t worry! There is beautiful music playing in the background and lots of people around to converse with should you choose. The food is “meh”, nothing to write home about, but still better than fast food and super close to all the shopping and center of the village. The birds are ruthless and will steal the food right off your table. It’s an island, we deal with it right? The service was mediocre, it took my server 4 times to bring me what I ordered. The first 3 times she just didn’t pay attention to detail and realize she was bringing what I ordered. I felt bad for having to keep reminding her of what I ordered. Maybe she is over worked, or understaffed, or just having an “off” day, but it definitely wasn’t a great first impression. There is trash all over the floor, and no employees picking it up as they step over it. Even I pick up trash on the ground that isn’t mine and put it in a can. Anyway. Great of you want a cocktail and sports, not so great if you want to eat food in clean and without harassment from the birds.

Cold Pizza and fries, which is fine- the bar doesn’t have a kitchen… but the first drink was average and the second is the worst I ever had, first time I’ve ever sent back a basic line margarita with salt. For $20 the remake was not better. Beautiful spot though. The music acts take a while to set up.

The pizza was quiet good and the Mai Tai was stiff. Prices aren’t too bad during Happy hour. The bar tender actually made it even better, he was super friendly and helpful, told me and other people at the bar about stuff to do and places to go.

Overall a fun and enjoyable location to eat and hang out with people. They had live music each night I went so that livened up the experience. I ate the smash burgers and I would eat them again. Comes with a MOUNTAIN of waffle fries!
