This restaurant serves truly authentic food that feels like home with every bite. The flavors are rich, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with tradition, care, and quality ingredients. Nothing tastes rushed or watered down—you can tell the recipes stay true to their roots. The atmosphere is welcoming and comforting, making you feel like you’re enjoying a home-cooked meal rather than dining out. If you’re looking for authentic food that warms both your stomach and your soul, this place is a must-visit.

I decided to patronize this place based on the google reviews as their rating is higher than all of the Caribbean spots in Snellville.
I did not see health score posted.
I love that they offer 3 plate sizes, small, medium and large.
I ordered a medium stew chicken plate for $11 and a beef patty.
The food is FRESH. Everything I ordered. The cabbage was perfectly aldente. My stew chicken was very well seasoned and tender. The rice and peas were moist, fluffy and fragrant. I could taste the fresh thyme in the rice which adds a real touch of class. The rice also tasted like jasmine or basmati, not the cheap short grain parboiled rice.
I’d give the beef patty 3.5 out of five stars but again hot and fresh.
I’m now looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.
In today’s economic climate the food was worth every dime.

The food has become inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not. The service is horrible the people working there are rude and it takes an extremely long time to get your food. They don’t have a good system going on just have one person take the order and have another person dish the food then hand it to the customer it’s very simple. It should never take 30 min to dish food that’s sitting in a warmer already prepared. And WE WANT PLANTAIN WITH our meal!!! That doesn’t add an additional fee and take 45min to make. Thanks

PEAK. 100% PEAK. I Went in like, 2 days ago & ordered Brown Stewed Chicken, rice, & cabbage. A small plate was $9, but it was pretty good value, it was so, so good, oh my god– The service was on point, the lady at the front was so, so sweet, she genuinely made my day. If I ever come back in the area, I’ll be coming here!! I would genuinely, highly suggest this place. It’s located right next to a Publix. Go here, please

What happened to this restaurant?! I discovered this Jamaican restaurant a couple years ago when I worked in loganville and the food was the best Jamaican restaurant food I’ve had in Georgia! Yesterday I ordered their large Stew Peas with rice and peas, they gave me a box full of white rice that looked like someone had eaten from it and some gray looking gravy with barely any peas or meat slopped into the half empty small squares and charged me $22 dollars!!! I was shocked bcs I hadn’t ordered there in a while and had heard they weren’t good anymore but I didn’t want to believe it! How disappointing! Why is it that people can’t stay authentic and respectful of their own name and business!! I will never order food there again!!! I just realized I could have posted a picture, which I had taken one!

Taste of Caribbean is one of those spots that keeps you coming back. The food is full of flavor, portions are solid, and the atmosphere feels authentic. You can tell care goes into what they serve. If you’re in the area and craving Caribbean food, this place doesn’t disappoint.

Great food & service. Our 1st time. My wife had curry chicken & I had curry goat. We both had cabbage & plantain.
The rice cooked to its perfection.
The ratio of the spices is perfect. Don’t forget to try their Sweet Chili Salmon! The flavors & the taste is out of this world.
We are glad that we found this place & will be visiting often.

Tears of Joy roll down my cheeks as I wrote this. To say this is delicious is not nearly enough. Sooooo goood. Soooo much flavor. My only regret was that I got full!!! The jerk chicken I could taste the smoke from the flame. The fritter was an explosion of delight to my brain. It’s like a fog lifted from my sorrows and a smile grew out of my soul!!! The porridge needs a better name, like “happiness and sunshine in a spoon!”
No words. No words exist to tell how good this food is. I thought I didn’t like jerk chicken, but it was like the Holy Spirit led me to them. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is full of love and flavor! Now I want to try everything. Twice!

I would say overall it’s a 4.5. The only negative is certain dishes only available on certain days of the week & in certain sizes. So food options are pretty limited. I loved the cornmeal porridge & will be back very soon.
