I ordered DoorDash goat and beef stew with a side of jellof rice. While I was eating I noticed a piece fish which looked like talpia. Luckily I seen it ahead of time, because my friend is allergic. Thankfully nothing happened, however If customers are paying for what they ordered. Please do your due diligence in making sure what is being prepared is correctly. Thank you.

Extremely poor experience at Aburi Gardens. About 3 weeks ago, I called ahead to order jollof rice, goat meat, and plantains, but the staff member was dismissive over the phone. When I arrived 25 minutes later with an Uber waiting outside, they seemed confused and had no record of my order. After re-confirming my number, a second man rushed to the kitchen and handed me a bag. I specifically asked him twice if my order jollof rice, goat meat and plantains were inside, and he looked me in the eye and said yes. I got home only to find they had substituted the plantains with salad. To lie about an order just to get a customer out the door is incredibly unprofessional. I called to complain, but the damage is done. Save your time and money.

Stopped by as I had heard their Egusi is delicious so I ordered that and fufu. Also a side of boiled yams which, lol, were probably delicious but not my cup of tea

The Egusi and the fufu were perfect and served hot. I’m ready to go back and try something else! The couple of guys working there were very kind and helpful and the service was great.

Definitely recommend

Too spicy!!!! Way too spicy! I can’t eat it. I had to throw it away!!!! I wasted money. They did not ask if i want it Mild. It doesn’t say there that it was spicy on the menu. I am so upset! I was excited to try their food and this happened.

Food was amazing. Just like My mom would make. Prepare for some heat in case you aren’t comfortable with spicy foods. Palmnut soup with Goat meat, Light soup with chicken, Fufu, , Aburi Wings all were excellent. I would have loved to dine instead of doing it as takeout.

I’ve wanted to visit Aburi Gardens International Restaurant for a few years now so I was super excited to be able to finally stop by today! The friendly server Christopher speaks Mandarin because he went to a Chinese University. I loved the Goat & Pepper Soup with Fufu and Motherland Combo with Jollof Rice, Spinach Stew (Egusi) with Beef & Fried Plantains. The goat & pepper soup here has a kick! I tried a bottle of Fula that was made with millet grain, whole milk, pure sugar, sour creme, pepper, salt, & cloves. It was like a spicier version of Horchata. I can’t wait to return for more pepper soup, fufu, and jollof rice!

Food was great & service was great. The gentleman who took our order was so sweet and friendly. The food came out pretty quickly and was all plated beautifully. We ordered okra (w/ beef) & fufu, oxtails over white rice and waakye (w/ fish). Everything was delicious! We will definitely return here. Thank you!

Ordered online the beef kabob, mama jane jollof, and red red. The only negative I have is that the beef kebab was a little hard and the jollof was oily. Flavor, portion sizes and price are AMAZING. Definetly worth the money. Would not find something this tasty, for that price, anywhere around here. Will 100% order again.

My family’s go-to spot for African food. We get peanut butter soup with chicken, beef stew with jallof, oxtail with jallof and turkey tail. We usually call ahead otherwise it can take some time. The food is spicy but true African usually is. As a suggestion if your not used to spicy use boiled eggs with food, plantains, and white rice to help the heat.
