For a very small town establishment/bar/restaurant definitely a firm 4 star for the following reasons: there were 10 of us and the food was all cooked to order, service was very friendly and we actually had 3 people helping to take orders and deliver food and beverages! Prices were extremely reasonable, bathrooms were clean and we felt right at home. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, hold the bread and give me lettuce instead….it was very delicious and exactly what I wanted.

My family and I live in town and have made this our go to for dining out nights. We actually choose The Branding Iron over Omaha and Lincoln 9/10 times! The food is made from scratch and cooked to order. The specials have made choosing just one night to visit hard- Thursdays Fridays and Sundays are our personal favs. The hard working and attentive staff have become friends and the environment is homey. So happy to have a spot like this in Cook!

Excellent food she was short just just her by herself about 14 people in the bar eating and drinking. She wasn’t only doing bartender but also cooking wish I got her name. Service was phenomenal for the position she was in and the food came out great as always!

The bartender/server made us feel like an inconvenience to her. She put our sides on the wrong plates and our appetizer on our meal plate. But the owners husband was very nice to us, and the food was good.
