I ordered takeout tonight and normally the sushi is very decent for this area. Unfortunately, tonight something tasted off. Thee tuna and salmon sashimi tasted flavorless and as if they had been frozen. The rolls were drowning in spicy mayo to the point of being inedible. The sweet potato in the sweet potato maki roll was not cooked all the way either. It was so very strange and disappointing when I’ve had nothing but great experiences fior the last 2 years. I would go back just because every restaurant can have an off night. It’s just too bad that $60 worth of sushi will be going in the trash.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The restaurant is a cute little place, the service is quick and attentive, and the price is reasonable. The fish was fresh and delicious, especially the salmon, it was soft and buttery and everything I hoped for. Their rolls are tasty too. The crab Rangoon were pretty good as well. The string beans were delicious, and the fry udon noodles were good. Very nice place 10/10 recommend!

We tried this place for the first time and I was really impressed with both the sushi and Chinese food.
The sushi was fresh and tasted great. They got one of our items wrong and once I called about it, they delivered the missing item.

We have been ordering from Sono for many years, since they first opened. After a hiatus due to unrelated circumstances, we began ordering from Sono again and wondered why we ever stopped. The sushi is consistently fresh and prices are reasonable, and they outdo the larger name chains in the local area. Highly recommended.

It is very difficult to imagine a more unpleasant experience that we had in this restaurant. I ordered salmon avocado roll. I was confused when it was served. I salmon must have bright yellow/pink color but fish that was served had almost brown color. Moreover, fish smelled like little bit rotten fish. When I sharpened manager’s attention to this fact, he started to argue with me and tried to convince me that fish was received only today, and it is in perfect condition. I will never visit this restaurant and strongly suggest to all visitors ensure that fish is fresh before consuming it. This restaurant can be very dangerous for your health, please be careful!

I just moved to town and have eaten at maybe 5 or 6 places, and this place is far and away my favorite. Best pad thai I’ve ever had, drinks are really good and cheap, and the atmosphere, at least on a Tues night, is really nice and quiet.
Also, I am not sure why it’s listed as 30-50, I got a mixed drink, a sushi roll, and pad Thai for <30, and they brought out wonton for free.
Really happy with my meal! I look forward to sharing this place with friends.
Update: Still my favorite spot.

Clean place with fresh tasting fish, what more can you want? I was hesitant to try at first due to no reviews, so I’m writing one. I don’t eat sushi often but I tried Sono because it is local and convenient. Now I only go to Sono! They are quick and efficient (can get busy during regular food “rush hours,” standard). The fish is always fresh (never even questionable, been a dozen+ times) and the people are friendly. Great for takeout, also has a bar and a small dining area.
