I am so happy they came back! I had to definitely go back and check it out and the new spot is such an improvement from the previous one. Very big and bright deli. There are tables to sit in and enjoy your meal.
I ordered take out but the flavor is still delicious as always!
It was beyond amazing so see many familiar faces from the original village hero!
I am def coming back to the new location!
I love the fact that the menu is 95% the same!!!!!! Couple of new things but their menu items have been great!!!

Village Hero in Syosset is a hidden gem tucked inside a corporate office building, and it might just serve the best chicken cutlet in New York. I got the junior hero (about 6 inches) with American cheese, bacon, and a light touch of gravy—and it was absolute fire. The chicken cutlet was perfectly crispy and juicy, with generous portions that rival any deli in the city. The thick-cut bacon was top-tier and added just the right amount of smokiness. Service was excellent—staff were friendly, quick, and polite. Prices are fair, portions are solid, and the quality is unbeatable. Definitely worth hunting down if you’re in the area.

The best is back !! I was so happy to hear village hero’s has returned basically across the street from where they used to be. It’s connected to an office building In a newly renovated space .Went there today and noticed a familiar menu and faces. I only got breakfast but it was a great egg sandwich as it used to be. I can’t wait to go back and get the wild willy I have greatly missed. Welcome back!

Opened in a new spot where you don’t have to duck your head to get in. Same great food! I tried the soup and it has the same great flavor that I remember. They still got their famous sandwiches of which I ordered a spicy willies. Still offers breakfast too. Located on the southest side of the building.

I was happy when I heard Village Hero’s was returning to Syosset. My happiness went away upon my return to it. I placed an order for 1 basic hero, nothing hard or complicated. I stepped aside to wait for my food. The person after me ordered, they got their food first, it happens. The person after them ordered, they got their food, that seems unfair but whatever. The person after them ordered, they got their food and so on. I’m still waiting so now I say something. The response I got was, “the person who got your ticket is making a big order”. That is not proper management for your customers. I got my single sandwich after about 25 minutes of waiting, no apology, no mac salad or drinks on the house, nothing to make me feel appreciated as a customer. So I have been going to Jersey Mikes ever since. Gave 2 stars cause the hero was good.

The best sandwiches on Long Island, period. Been going there since I was a kid and the quality has always been top-notch. A must for breakfast or lunch!

I was glad to see this deli reopen after being closed. However, the quality just isn’t what it used to be. The sandwiches we had were not good at all, and unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Got a hot sandwich (Monte Cristo), not even close to it. Soggy, bland, and pricey. Service was at least quick and staff were kind.
Wouldn’t recommend
