Located within a cloud kitchen setup, this review is for the Indian food truck – Amaravathi’s. We weren’t expecting a minimal dining setting which is highly optimized for takeout orders. No sit down next time!
In terms of the food we had – it was good but East Bay has several amazing options for Dosa and Idli that this food truck doesn’t impress beyond a one try drive by experience. The food is prepared to-go even when you dine in, but there is clean place to eat from the to-go boxes.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is what I’ve been looking for! I had the chicken whole grains salad bowl with a delicious dressing, from Palmira, and it was like eating at Sweet Green AND ONLY $10!!! I want to try all the salads and also all the other restaurants that serve customers through East Bay Eats! Yumm!

I ordered food from “NN Thai Street Food” for dinner not far from home. It was very delicious. I will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Didar Persian Food, nestled within East Bay Eats, offers a refreshing twist from Hayward’s usual dining scene. My recent experience tasting their Zershk Polo and Combo Kabob left me thoroughly impressed. The Zershk Polo’s saffron infused rice and tangy barberries burst with flavor, while the Combo Kabob featured perfectly grilled beef and chicken. You get 2 skewers and 2 grilled tomatoes. They also provide fresh herbs, bread, and a delightful dessert. Didar’s dedication to freshness and authenticity is unmistakable. This culinary gem really ramps up Hayward’s dining scene. I would recommend this to anyone who is craving exquisite flavors of Persian cuisine. It’s a MUST try!

Tables and chairs are always taken up by uber drivers, hard to even eat here. The options are vast but all out of one kitchen feels kinda weird.

Mid mid mid mid mid, from the reviews I thought this place would be much better. Tteobokki was fine, the atmosphere reminded of being in the squid games. Super impersonal cold colors and the lady doesn’t help much with is fine. My koobideh ground beef was definitely not ground beef but that’s also fine. It’s kinda bland and needs a dairy based sauce to go along because it’s kind of boring. The price didn’t match what I got but whatever. This place is extremely overhyped and I don’t understand it.

I ordered from the Japanese fusion place and was very disappointed. First my order was 20 minutes later than the latest pickup time. The person who’s food I was also picking up from a different kitchen was ready before I got there.
Once I got it home I then found the cut of fish I ordered, which looked like a nice filet in the picture, was almost a whole fish. The fish was tasty once I worked the meat out of it.
While the fish and Wakame salad tasted good, the white rice was cold and hard!
I do plan to order from East Bay Eats again, it will just be from a different kitchen.

1st time visit of an all time favorite of mine that I originally used to frequent in Fremont, Teo’Chow. Still same great flavor and taste. Order took about 8 min to complete and the facility was packed from other patrons checking it out. I unfortunately forgot to take pics before I started eating my food but if you have visited this place before you can rest assure the flavors and quality are all there!

Wonderful idea to have a Ghost Kitchen Food Hall in downtown Hayward. Hopefully some of the pics I’ve added with give it more exposure. The kitchens are filling up and I was told they’re trying to get approval for tables/benches for outside dining too 🙂 enjoy!
