Always the absolutely best sopapillas? A must try. I recommend the beef bean cheese and chicken one! Yum!!! Nobody else makes them quite this good. Staff is always so friendly and attentive when we done in.

If you’re from Colorado, you know what Green Chile Smothered Burrito is. After looking high and low to find it this side of the Mississippi; I found it here and it did not disappoint! It’s got kick like you wouldn’t believe, is smothered to perfection, and the flavor of the peppers is delightful.
Ended with a yummy Donkey’s Ear and was very pleased (and perhaps a little too full). All that with a side of amazing service and genuine smiles! I’ll definitely be back next time I swing through town. Thanks for the great lunch experience all around!

Service was amazing and so glad I tried the sopapilla it was delicious! I would post the picture of it but it was too delicious to wait. Right across from the dog fountain. Perfect place to stop after hiking around the Ariel park

Service was the only good thing here. The food was painfully inauthentic, and it was obvious why—nothing about this place reflected real Mexican cooking.

I brought my little sister to share the amazing food with her. We both look forward to our next visit

La Paloma has a very welcoming atmosphere and an attractive location downtown. I tried the beef, bean, and cheese sopapilla and was definitely impressed with the presentation, flavor, and textures! I was surprised at the exceptionally small amount of queso that was provided in the large serving, which was barely enough to drizzle the top of my entree, however the flavor was delicious.

Large portions, excellent service. The tacos had a ton of ground beef. Good value for the money.

I had my heart set on eating fajitas. I had to settle for a burrito- no fajitas here. Jim had a beef and cheese soppapila (probably spelled all wrong). Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient waitress.

The taquitos were very disappointing. They were the exact same kind that I could buy in the frozen food section at Walmart.
Is this the same La Paloma Mexican restaurant that I ate at in Mt. Vernon 6 or 7 years ago?
