Very mediocre. I ordered on an app which said to pick up the food inside, but the door was locked and they required to come to the drive-through. There was only one person working in there doing the cooking and serving. The chicken was mediocre. The breading was odd. The sides were very good though. Not worth the price

My 1st time eating here via uber eats. Delicious and Wonderful Food!! Mom was born in LA and when we came to town this weekend for the Tupac Museum we had to leave the trip on a high note. Golden Bird 100/100. The chicken strips, drum sticks, peach cobbler, banana pudding, red beans and rice, ample fries, & mac and cheese reminded Mom of her childhood and made a new fan out of me!!!! Worth every penny. Your taste buds will thank you!

Just left the restaurant. I pulled into drive thru, waited a few minutes with no response from speaker. I noticed the restaursnt was opened but no patrons. So I pulled to the window, no one inside.
As I was leaving the drive thru a woman was sitting in the back. She appeared to be talking on her phone & smoking. She didn’t respond when I asked if the restaurant was open. Such a failure as a business with such a Great history. Someone PLEASE open a franchise in the Compton, Watts or Carson area.

Cashier was nice but the cook was terrible. Chicken had no flavor and it was burnt. Seems like it was cooked in old grease. Hint the picture below. This place is in need of some serious renovation.

Everything is basically good. Chicken, onion rings, & biscuits are my favorites.
But….
The 20 piece family meal price increase $25 in 1 year, from $50 to $75; and the side portions can be eaten by 4 people, but 4 people arent going to eat 20 pieces of chicken in one setting.
Please decrease your prices & increases side portions to a reasonable amount so you can get more customers. $75 for 20 piece family meal is ridiculous. If I order the family meal at $75 twice a year, then you guys make $150; but if I order the same family meal at $55 five times a year, then you guys make $275.
Some item are reasonably priced and others are overpriced. See pictures
