Cute little place near Fort Union. Fast casual. Employees are nice. They recommend things to me when asked.

The place is super clean and tidy. Pretty quiet and easy to converse.

The tacos are amazing. They allow you to sample things too if you ask.

We came here for lunch and it was quick, delicious, and easy.

I always enjoy small bite cafeterias because everything always looks so bright & colorful, and I can try so many different things without committing to a whole meal. Because commitment issues.

Vessel Kitchen has a two locations, and the one in Midvale is large & spacious (great for reducing claustrophobicism but not great for acoustics). Walking past the cafe line lets you see and choose and sample any of the cold/hot sides.

Took a lot of internal debating, but finally settled on butternut squash (very yum), brussel sprouts (ok), mac & cheese (very yum) and chickpea soup (very yum). Colorful meal with all of the nutrients for 4x$3 or $12. So much yes.

Drinks and pastries also offered at the end. I joked with cashier about how one of the strawberry macaroons looked ugly and squashed. Peep was friendly and she let me take the damaged one for free. Sweet!

Water & bussing is self-serve, which is a nice way of saying “stay as long as you’d like”.

The food was delicious, and really fresh. It’s an “order and then sit” place and then they bring it to your table. Pretty full at noon, but by 1pm it was almost empty. They have protein bowls, salads, taco plates, a la carte sides, etc.

The service was top quality. They let me try the spicy sauce before I locked in my meal. The flavors blend well together too. I’m usually skeptical of health oriented flavors, but this place knocks it out of the park.

I absolutely love Vessel Kitchen! I can’t get enough of this place! For the quality healthy food options they provide and for a reasonable price, it’s my go-to for a quick meal when I don’t feel like cooking. I’ve been there the last 3 nights in a row. That’s how much I love it . The Hash Hash and the Andrelipe are my favorites but to be fair, I am a creature of habit and have not tried many other options. Thanks for providing a healthy, quick alternative that tastes great and makes me feel good afterwards. See you soon

I love their hash hash and get it every time I come here. Plus their hummus is delicious! The process of getting food takes a while but it’s so worth it for how good the food is.

Vessel Kitchen is a unique restaurant featuring healthy food and fresh ingredients. The prices are reasonable and very affordable. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were so impressed with the food and the service, we went there more than once during the few days we were visiting Cottonwood Heights in Salt Lake.

I’m gonna be brutally honest here. The nicest thing I can say about this menu is it’s not for me.

First – where is the ice for the water cup? I want ice, and all I could find by the water fountain was iced tea (with no ice).

I felt like I was eating at a dressed up version of Noah’s New York bagels. The best thing on the menu is the hummus and the portions, while definitely getting your money’s worth are huge. That’s not clean eating, because everything was brown and just too much. The fanciest colors were green cilantro and the pickled onions. The Mac and cheese needs work, and a new type of noodle. You don’t serve macaroni noodles for your Mac and cheese at a place this dressed up. Use a rigatoni or a penne. Own it. Respect the sacredness of the Mac and cheese.

Maybe I’m showing myself growing up in California but there was just no flavor. I knew I was eating the Utah bowl but where was the flavor? I got more flavor from the hummus. But even the hash hash, I don’t know what the big deal is.

Again, not a bad place if this is your type of food. I really expected more from the ingredients but it just feels like the recipes were made to cancel out any flavor whatsoever.

That’s me. So take that with that consideration. I’m one dude.

This place is really nice! I love the inside and they have nice lighting. I ordered Good n’ Plenty, and I loooooooved their Brussel sprouts and their mashed potatoes! The pulled pork was also delicious and the orange sauce that came with it was also good. The meal was very filling. I think the salads are also a good portion – will come back to try it later. Felt healthy eating it and the staff was friendly.
