Taiwanese person review:

This place is a sleeper hit for Taiwanese style beef noodle soup — round cut beef shanks (not cubed or chunked), homemade pickled mustard greens, and homemade chili oil.

Came here while visiting and was blown away given there are other options that look good too.

Probably still relatively unknown or gate kept bc it’s easy to miss and doesn’t look like much.

Get the beef noodle soup and be transported to the beef noodle soup stalls in Taiwan. Like most legit places, they will have their own homemade take on the pickled mustard greens and chili oil.

Seats like 10 people comfortably or maybe 15 people as a squeeze.

Has a bunch of traditional side dishes or take home meals and also frozen dumplings for sale. Saw 6 aunties come in while I ate and buy loads of stuff and bounce bc they know what’s up

Walked in, not greeted, but it’s ok. I ask about portions size for me, a big guy. I was looking for lunch specials, but the lady recommended the lunch box bigger. So I got the pork sausage box. With a winter melon juice drink for less than 17 bucks

Another local eatery that my family loves to order food from. Their bento boxes are delicious and packed w several food groups; rice, vegetables, stewed egg and main course (stewed pork, my family’s favorite/ duck/ chicken). Plus their prices are so reasonable. Try their pig ears, they’re REAL pig ears instead of other store bought “pig ears as written on their labels” when pig parts like snouts are mixed in (Eww). Lastly their aloe Vera drinks are good too.

My wife buys all her dumplings and wonton here. Great place. Good prices. It’s our Costco for northern style food.

Good old Taiwanese dishes.

CASH ONLY.

Small space, more of a take-out place.

They have lots of frozen food for sale as well.

Love the Taiwanese cuisines, pretty local flavor. Lots of side dish choices and all tastes very good! Currently not allowing dine in but you can order for take out or pick up in store. Make sure to wear your mask when you get there!

Food is pretty darn good. Dan Dan noodles are nice and chewy with a strong peanut flavor. Could use more chili oil though. Pork chop rice is nicely fried and actually on the sweet side which is new. If you go at the end of the night, expect to quickly order and be shooed out of the restaurant because they are eager to close

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would.

My friend was hungry so she decided to eat here since it smelled pretty good from outside. This place is SUPER small. There were 3 of us, she was the only one eating. The only table available was the 2 person tables. I was ok with sitting near the other guy eating alone. No biggie.

Not long after, a couple was outside waiting for a table. Since 2 of us were not eating, she asked if she could have my chair for the customers outside. I have never been kicked out of my own seat at a restaurant in my whole life! It didn’t matter if I was eating or not. That is just plain rude.

Since a family was leaving, my chair was no longer needed so eventually she gave it back to me. I was furious by that time though. If I drove that day, I would have walked straight out of that place.

But wait, there’s more! Eventually another family wanted to eat there too and she had the nerve to tell my friend to HURRY UP AND EAT FASTER! HOW RUDE!!!!

UGHHHH!!! WORST PLACE EVER! PLUS THE FOOD SUCKED.
